    Default Sooooooooooo whiney!!!

    Hey ladies

Not only have I been dealing with a crappy sleeper lately, but he's been soooooo whiney! I'm sure partly due to crappy sleep, and teething. But I'm getting so worn out!!!! He's up at least 4 times a night and for part of the night I am sleeping with him just so I can get a little more sleep. Then when he's awake he just whines and whines!

I dont know if this is all developmental or teething or what, but he just started crawling and pulled himself up to standing once too. Regardless, I will be soooo happy once it's over!! I think I'd take the crappy sleep over the whining though. It's driving me!!!!!

I'm sorry he's been tough lately. Teagan went through a really whiney phase recently. It started right around when she started crawling and sorta stopped once she mastered it. Of course, she's sitting there whining at me right this very moment so I can't say it has stopped. I've been trying not to respond to her whining by just picking her up. Instead, I'll talk her through it, rub her back, sing to her, distract her with a toy, etc. I'm trying to convey that I'm here, I'm listening, but I'm not going to be your pedi-cab.

ahhh we have whinyness going on too. I was thinking it was his teeth as well as we are still waiting for the 4th one to pop through. he looks like a hillbilly with just the one top tooth poking out lol. I havn't been picking him up really, just moving him to different spots, giving him different toys etc to see if he likes them better. I was thinking if it wasn't his teeth maybe he wants something but can't get to it but it drives me nuts so i hope it ends soon.

Rowan gets really whiny sometimes, and it's mobility related. She likes to walk, but can only do so holding someones hands. So she whines until we give her our fingers, and then she's perfectly content. So maybe he's just getting frustrated that he can't move around as much as he wants.

We are in that same boat. I totally think its related to being able to move around because Odin does it when I put him down & he can't follow me. He wants to be held all the time.

I"m sorry. I feel you too. Instead of a whiney 8mo old I have a whiney 3yo keeping me up at night. I swear she knows when I have to work the next day. She sleeps pretty decent on the weekend.

Hope Simon sleeps better for you soon.

Yep, lots of whining here. I think it's his teeth. He keeps biting me when I nurse him too then whines when I take him off.

We get some whinyness, but the worst is the full blown screaming everytimeYou try to dress him. Anyone would think we are trying to dress him in clothes made of pins.

Thanks ladies! Last night was another annoying night. I'm now pretty much a cosleeping Mama, although I didnt want to be, but that's the only way anyone gets any sleep. There must be something bothering him though (hopefully his teeth which will end soon?) because he tosses and turns all night! No wonder he wakes so often. It's just easier when he's sleeping with me because I can soothe him back to sleep before he starts crying, either by boob or just cuddling him closer.

He is cute to sleep with but I miss sleeping with DH! I hope these teeth break through soon and hopefully that solves the problem.
