    Default Spitting up

Are your LOs still spitting up fairly often? It seems like Lucas has started spitting up more after eating, and I can't remember at what age they should stop doing this. My DD had horrible reflux and was on meds until about 1 yr, so I don't really know what is normal.

I'm wondering if his increasing spitting up has to do w/ the fact that he is mobile now, or maybe his bottle nipple flow is too fast or he's eating too much? Or maybe that's just what he's supposed to do. Idk. My DD is also allergic to cow's milk, so I'm also paraniod that maybe he is allergic too, even though he isn't showing all the symtoms of it that DD has.

ETA: I just got around to read Mona's thread about eating and spitting up after I posted this one. Oh well, I'd still like to hear what your LOs are doing.

Tobey has never spit up which was a huge shock to me after having Alexander who spit up all the time. I'd say it sort of stopped (being all the time and just sometimes) when he was about 10 months old.

Yep Simon is still spitting up. We get bouts of it being less, but it definitely picks up when he's eating more solids. He still has reflux and apparently teething makes it worse, and I think he's teething again so the spitting up seems to have increased again.

I think maybe Lucas is just over eating a bit with the introduction of solids??? Simon some nights eats what I know is waaaaaaay too much, I think because he likes what he is eating (say sweet potato for instance).

As long as Lucas is gaining weight and happy I wouldnt worry too much. Though I know how annoying spitting up food (aka BARF!) can be!

Just when he overeats and moves about too much, so not too often but definitely a few times each week. It's slowed down a lot compared to just a couple of months ago.

For some reason this just cracked me up!

Are you talking like spinach, or an actual leaf from a plant? (Okay, I know spinach is an actual leaf from a plant too, but ykwim! LOL)

A leaf outside. I figured I let her so she'd learn that not all things are for eating. Lesson learned.
