I can't be the only one whose kid gets stains in just about every article of clothing. Anyone have tricks for getting stains out?
Oxyclean. Did you see my picture on FB earlier? She comes home COVERED in paint nearly every day. Comes right out with a soak in Oxyclean.
Nappisan (which I guess is the same or similar to oxyclean. Also get your hands on the book spotless, it is supposed to have really good ideas.
I just keep Simon naked except for a diaper when he's at home....therefore no stains. LOL! but serious, I second oxyclean!
Scoop of oxyclean in every load of Aiden's laundry!
I guess I'm the only one that Oxyclean doesn't work for. I quit buying it because it didn't make a difference. I blame our hard water.
We have super hard water and it works for us. I don't put it in the wash though. Doing that doesn't do anything. I just pre-soak things that really need it before putting them in the wash.
I use the Dreft spray, which I love, but I may try the oxyclean now that I hear how good it is.
I keep a bucket for soaking in the laundry tub which is a nappisan mixture, it needs soaking it goes in there, and change the water as needed. I know it works because the colour of that water when I tip it out is so gross.
the only stains we have really had to deal with are formula stains. i should try some of this stuff because it is still in there.
Ok a testament to the power of nappisan- I soaked my old cabbage patch doll overnight (he's been in there maybe 24hours now) because my lovely cats peed on him. Poor old Gerald Craig was covered in grime and inground dirt from being dragged around when I was a child and then instorage for many years. Mum used to wash him and it still never came out. Even his head was a dirty brown. He is back to being clear except the tops of his hands which keep sticking up out of the water and part of his head which I should be able to clear up by using some of the soaking water to wipe over.
The colour his hand is is pretty much how he was almost all over.
