Girls, I love Morgan and Caroline! I think Caroline Suzanne is my favorite of all those combinations. I don't really like Leah, and Rory sounds like it should be a nickname for something. I do love Laila, I would say it Lay-la. The other way I would spell Lila or Lyla. I know someone who named her girl Loralei, and calls her Lila for short, which I also love. And it makes me think of that show "Gilmore Girls" which if I remember correctly, the girl Rory's real name was actually Loralei.
Boys, love all your boys names, except Marshall for some reason, which I really can't pin down why I don't like it. But Logan and Evan were some of my top boy names when I had Lucas, and I actually would have named him Logan but his dad absolutely refused b/c of some really stupid reason. Grrr. Oh well. I love Cameron and Mitchell too! Any of them will go well with Roger.
I think you and I have very similar tastes in names![]()

I know a Lorelei and I also love that name!
Right?? It's so ridiculously spot on that he has now embraced it and gets really mad and insulted when the character does something that he wouldn't personally do.
I love Jaxon/Jackson (and Sons of Anarchy!) but yes it's super popular and has been for a while...I have a 19 year old cousin and a 7 year old cousin (different sides) both named Jackson. There was a Jaxson on my original BB too (a DS1, not the baby)
I don't know how averse you are to popular names, though. None of these are particularly oddball, so maybe that's no biggie!
Ditto!
Funny and totally off topic ... I was heading to my building the other day and did a double take because I saw this undergrad walking by wearing a SAMCRO T-shirt who looked exactly like Season 1 Jax Teller (swoon). He was clearly playing up the resemblance.
I hear Rory and think Gilmore Girls. Same with Lorelei. lol.
I like Leah though! There are quite a few variations of it (or close to it) that are nice and not weird too.
I'm all about traditional boy names though, so I'm not much help there since most traditional names rank pretty high.

i love Rory! i am a fan of names that could be either though and I did know a boy named Rory. i like Logan and Evan as well, but they are super popular where i am so i wouldn't use them. Logan is also my nephews name
i would pronounce it Lay la
SWOON
Honestly I break my own rule when it comes to REALLY traditional. One of our top boy names is William. Can you get more popular than that? Not much! But...it's a family name, and we both like it a lot (nn Will--all the ones in the family are Bill). I think if you're going TRADITIONAL it's okay for it to be common. Something that's been popular since the beginning of time is exempt from my "too popular" rule. I just try to avoid trends.
Me toooo....DH and I both love unisex names (can you tell?)
We did some talking while camping this weekend if Zoe happens to grow a penis by birth. Right now we're thinking James Edward (Edward is FIL's middle name). I LOVE William, but that's FIL's name, BILs name, and BIL's oldest name. I like Benjamin, but HATE Ben. We briefly considered naming DS Alexander, but I hate Alex. lol. Blame childcare for those NN hatreds.
