ugh, tooth brushing is the bane of my evenings! Olivia does like the fruity toothpaste, but hates us to brush and doesn't do a good enough job brushing herself so it's a screaming hold her down fight every night. *sigh*

I only scrub Aiden's teeth once a day. The other toothbrushing is him solo. I've been trying to brush my teeth at the same time as him and exaggerate what I'm doing in hopes that it'll help. If he really fights me I drop it.
Lainey is going through a phase where she is tolerating having her teeth brushed without a fight. We just use water because all DD1 did with the training stuff was suck it off the toothbrush and it took us a long time to break her from eating it.
I've been lucky. Both mine have been no problem. I think Tobey has only put up a fight once.
I don't really have any tips though. Although I tell DS1 that if he doesn't want to keep his teeth that's fine, we won''t brush them. Then he thinks about it and we brush lol

Yikes, that is an expensive experiment! Although honestly we put such a tiny amount on there that this one tube will probably last until kindergarten, so fifteen dollars isn't really that bad over the amount of time it will last. If you don't know if he'll like it, though, yeah. I wouldn't take that risk either!
This is the kind we have: http://www.vitacost.com/jason-kids-o...FakaQgodJF0A3g
Hmmm...looks like you could get that shipped to you pretty cheaply, actually. Check out the International Shipping info.
Isabelle likes brushing her teeth herself although she more just chews on the brush. She doesn't always want me to do it but I will gently brush her lips until she opens her mouth and I also tell her that its my turn to brush first then she can have a turn. So far that has worked for us. We are just using water as I think she would probably just eat whatever toothpaste I put on the brush.
Teagan goes back and forth. Its so much part of her routine now that she actually gets mad if she thinks we're putting her to bed without brushing. Some nights its a struggle so I give up and then she'll ask to have her teeth brushed. We use the JASON brand toothpaste too.
Have you tried doing it at a different time of day?
