I found a homebirth group in my town. It's crazy that there is actually a group of homebirthers here. I have never had a homebirth, or even a vaginal birth at all, but they invited me to meet with them at a gathering they are having tomorrow evening. I am welcome to bring my kids and there will be someone there doing a cloth diaper demonstration and some of you know that I've been thinking for a while that I'd really like to do cloth, so this may be a perfect opportunity to see the diapers and see if it's something I can do long term. HERE is the website for the lady who is doing the cloth demonstration.

OMG GO! Sounds like a blast. You don't have to have had a homebirth to become friends with homebirthers! Its not like its some sort of secret society.

Oddly enough, I belong to a MeetUp group that is having a homebirthing Meetup soon. I can't go because its in the middle of the day on a weekday. Argh. Stupid school. Otherwise, I'd be all over it. I've actually been toying with the idea of a homebirth.

Oh my gosh go!! It will but such a great way for you to get out of the house and meet new people!! Whether you want to cloth,homebirth I doubt it would matter!

Go, go, and go. Like the others have said, it will let you meet some moms in your area. And since you are interested in cloth diapers, you will be able to see if they may be a fit for you.
