Received the ornament and love it!It's great to have something from Ohio on my tree. I'm actually a native Ohioan, though I haven't been back there in over ten years - I was born rather close to you (according to Google maps, I hadn't heard of your town so I checked). Moved away when I was 2, came back (to a different town, also in Central Ohio) for middle school and part of high school, moved away again, then came back for college at BG.
I tried to take a picture of Rowan holding the ornament, but she was cranky and uncooperative (she has a cold).

You're welcome! I'm glad you like it! Sorry about the homemade-ness of it. I went to 4 different stores trying to find an Ohio ornament that wasn't related to football! Then I gave up and made it instead.
You were probably bored with my Ohio post card and Buckeyes recipe! I didn't realize I was sending to a native Ohioan! lol![]()
How cool! I think it's great that you already had a connection to Ohio, too. Makes it mean that much more. I think anything homemade/handmade/personalized increases the sentimental value!
Very cool
Bored? Are you kidding? Not only did I not have that recipe, I hadn't thought about chocolate buckeyes in years - you reminded me of my childhood. Of course, now dh wants me to make him some.
And I prefer homemade! As a crafter myself, I can appreciate the time and thought that went into it.
