Video of me putting Aiden on my back...

Or according to my husband "the video explaining why ladies run across parking lots to yell." Blum 3

Please don't mind how messy I look. I never showered after Stroller Strides. Too much effort with a toddler.

I soooo wish I could do this with Simon. But it would be like having a 3 or 4 year old on your back!!! Lol I love how you just flip him up there!!!

Wow! That is very quick and efficient! Though I can see why someone not familiar with the process might freak out a bit. . .

That carrier does look fun.. I just know how you can carry him on your back and not hurt. I did the baby bjorn thing for a while and OMG I was hurting and acheing so bad..

A lot of big BWers hate the Bjorns because they really are poorly designed. Most of their carriers can't be used for very long and they do hurt the parents back quickly due to the design. Honestly, the carrier in the video doesn't hurt me at all, even after several hours. If it does, then I have it on incorrectly! It's like wearing a backpack. In fact, it's easier to wear DS than it was to wear my high school or my middle school back packs. lol.

I need one like that too, I just can't get a back carry right with my mei tei, and now he's walking Ronin isn't into being carried as much.
I'm not sure if I have said it before Jackie, but you remind me so much of a girl I went to high school with.

With my Ergo, I sit Teagan on my hip and then scoot her around. I've gotten SO many offers of help when I'm doing it in the parking lot. Um, no thanks strange lady who wants to touch my baby. My DH is always amazed that I'm able to do it. He claims its 'cuz I'm bendy. Though, I don't know what being bendy has to do with it.

I always feel like I'm going to drop Aiden when I try to hip scoot, though I think most people hip scoot rather than throw their kid over the head like me. Lol

Fun! I flip Lucas around all the time and he loves it! I never thought of it as a way to get him into the carrier on my back though. I always tried the hip scoot and it never really worked so I gave up wearing him long ago. I love how he just lays there waiting for you to strap him in! Sooo cute!

I love it, and he is so patient just waiting to be snapped in. You ladies have definitely inspired me to do more baby wearing with the next one.

Me make a cover?! ROFL Uhhh...no. lol It's a baby sized Bamberoo SSC. I bought it Thanksgiving weekend when she had them 20% off. The baby sized carrier is actually bigger bodied than the Ergo. I've ran across a few moms who use these carriers to carry their 3-4 year olds since she has bigger sized carriers.
