That is SO DS1. He was a pukie baby thought, he's not rally grown out of it. Was Adair a pukie baby?
Last winter was the worst. I had to take him to the doctor because he had so many colds and he was just throwing up and not eating he was getting really thin (he got down to nearly 28lbs). He was also refusing to eat because he didn't want to be sick and of course being weak from not eating was making him more ill, it was a vicious circle. Bleh. But he's fine now, and weighs nearly 50lbs and really tall so you'd never know how ill he was last year
So check out this awesomeness: BOTH kids pooped in the potty today!! I was holding Kole and he did his poop grunt so I dove over to the little potty and tore his diaper off (one tiny track mark in it) and sat him down, and he pooped in the potty!!! That's the second one I've caught of his. I caught one earlier this week and those are the only poops he's had this week. YAY! AND THEN, Lyla was standing very still staring off into space and me and DH both started encouraging her to go on the potty (she is NEVER, NEVER still! never!) and she did!! It's amazing what a high I'm on because of some poop! And now they are BOTH napping! *goofy happy dance*
LOVE that Anna!!!
Okay, if y'all see me back on here before tonight kick me unless I've overdone it. I need to be productive so I can goof off tomorrow without guilt.![]()
Not really, but I puke from strep and headaches, and she did puke from strep a few months ago so it's not THAT out of the blue. I'm glad to know we're not the only ones dealing with it(And glad your DS recovered from such a terrible spiral of sickness! That sounds awful.)
Why must Monday come around again. I feel like I have been hit by a truck but have to go to work today, If istill feel bad tomorrow I would takje it off but hubby has the day off and he would drive me nuts and not let me get any rest so it would be pointless.
Leigh- that's how this plague started for us. Teagan puked in the carseat on the day I was suuuper hung over. She was totally fine afterward. Its gotta be a mucus thing.
Mel - I hope the crankies go away after naptime.
Anna - YAY! You're doing great at EC with Kole. I found poops to be easier than pees when T was his age.
Wendy - How about taking the day off and spending it ALONE pampering yourself?
We've been in panties all day again today so far. She had one accident. She fell asleep in the carseat and peed. I can hardly call that a fail. I've been putting a prefold under her bottom in the carseat so if she pees it at least doesn't mean I have to wash the carseat.
Leigh - Olivia also pukes when she has a cold sometimes. It sucks!
Anna - sounds like a GREAT day!
Wendy - how are you going to get better if you don't slow down and do something for yourself? :P
Erin - I wouldn't call the carseat pee a fail either! doesn't count when they are sleeping until they are much older IMHO.
I vacuumed and mopped downstairs. I even moved furniture around to get underneath stuff. DH promises to stay up working on laundry since it's mostly his (I did a big load of mine and Aden's already). For once I'm caught up on dishes and all of the toys are sorted downstairs! I expect by the time I leave for the cloth diaper meeting tomorrow that Aiden will have undone half of today's hard work. At least.![]()
Oh, and now I hurt. Of course.
Erin, that is fantastic! Car seat and asleep?! Yeah, that totally doesn't count.
Um, I have cleaned up copious amounts of every bodily fluid today (except blood, fingers crossed...). This last time that she peed on the floor a few minutes ago, she was gleefully splashing in it. Now THAT is a fail. Although I consider the fact that I limited my freakout to "Adair?! WHAT THE...?!?!?!" before regaining my self control and calmly stating that pee goes in the potty, and it is NOT a toy.
OMG.
I'm putting her back in diapers for a couple of weeks and starting over with consistency and dedication (using that book I'm reading). We need a plan.
