Yeah, we went through that too. DH gets it A LOT worse than I do, but I got it plenty too for a while there. Don't worry, you'll get love again someday!
Adair has NOT been wanting to leave school lately. Which is good, because it's looking like I might have to go full time soon...not ideal if I were designing my dream life, but good in the long run. And I found out I can take a 1/2 hour lunch instead of an hour, so it's actually only going to mean her staying at school about 45 minutes longer than she is now anyway (I'll work 7-3:30). So, through afternoon snack instead of getting picked up right after nap. I asked her "Hey, Addy, what do you think about staying at school after nap to have snack with Wren and THEN I'll pick you up?" and she lit up and said "And Mick?! And Teagan?! Oh, YES!" So...she'll be just fine, I think.
They graduate mid December, but right now aren't expecting them to be done with flights till christmas, maybe even new years. So if he does manage to stay in, there goes my dreams of him having leave over the holidays.![]()
Jackie, do you know if you are going tonight? I hate that you are going through this, but at least you will know something soon.
I have an off topic question. I finally put pg2go on my phone. Problem is, I can't get onto the boards. Do I need to change a setting somewhere? Did any of you ladies have issues with this?
I don't know. I was planning on it, but DH wasn't sure if he wanted me to come or not. He's supposed to call, text, or email me later telling me what he wants me to do.
Ok, I've got problems. I didn't even think about getting on the web on my phone. Wow.
Kole fell off the couch head first. I am still shaking and it's been about 30-45 minutes ago. Floor to the top of the couch cushion is 18 inches so not a high fall, but he cried and then puked. It didn't seem like he was crying hard enough to cause the puke, but could be. He's got a huge red mark on his head where he landed and he's sound asleep now. It is his usual nap time though. I just looked at him not a full minute before I heard the thunk. Lyla never fell off anything at that age. She took a 3 food tumble off our bed around 10 months and landed on all fours. Also around that time she climbed/fell out of her crib but landed on soft stuff. She didn't start falling ugly until she started walking and climbing.
My first thought is to rush him to a doctor, but I know they will just laugh at me so I'll be keeping a close eye on him. I know it's typical for babies to fall and they are super durable (especially at only 18 inches) but I still hate it and it still makes me sick to my stomach.
I'm also not a fan of trying to post here from my phone. It takes forever to type something because I'm constantly hitting the wrong buttons, fixing the autocorrects, etc.
Jackie, Good Luck tonight! I hope you guys get nothing but good news.
Oh no, Anna, I would be sick about it too. Poor little guy. If he wakes up and you feel like he needs the dr, take him. Who cares what they think.
