Congrats on getting your storage thingy together, Jackie!

Leigh and I are now officially 1 week buff!

Erin, thanks for the tip on how not to smell when you go back to work after exercising...this is a significant improvement

I actually get restless leg syndrome with each pregnancy so I definitely know what that feels like! This is deep down, poison ivy type itching but no rash.
I'm going to keep an eye on it. So far it's just itching with no other Cholestasis symptoms. The only downside of having non-doctor care.....if I need to have tests ordered, I'm going to need an OB to do it. Hopefully it gets better soon.

They just kept an eye on her (few more 3rd tri appts), but when baby was doing fine and she didn't get anything more severe than super itching they just left her alone. She did adjust her diet to cut out oils and fats and up her protein more. She definitely noticed that she itched more if she cheated a bit and had like a few potato chips or something. At this point she's just hoping she doesn't have it next pregnancy.
That is encouraging to hear. My fear is that if I have it, I will have to have a baby at, like 36 weeks. And it would have to be a c-section, because they won't induce me. But I'm trying not to borrow trouble. Hopefully it's just hormonal and it will go away.

Hm. What worries me is that several of the things I read said that often you DON'T have any other symptoms, at least not at first. I hope it's nothing, but...maybe worth asking your MW about?

PS Sorry to hear you get RLS too. I get it a lot even non-pg, but when I was pregnant it became FULL BODY. Miserable.

I try to remember that she's brain damaged from extreme drug use in her youth and a very serious car accident (playing chicken), but I can't make endless allowances for her. DH taught Lyla to throw a fastball the other day, outside. And now we are trying to get the message across that that kind of throwing is only for outside. Well she threw a ball in SIL's direction pretty hard. She was totally playing. I told her not to throw so hard, and at the exact same time SIL gave her a loud "NO!", and then REACHED OUT AND SWATTED HER BUM!!! Not the least bit hard, and she immediately asked Lyla for a hug, so Lyla took it as a playful thing, but still. I let that go with a 'look', I'm kinda known for my 'looks'. Well a little bit later, I was leaving the room to go nurse Kole and I heard "Don't touch those, Lyla!" "Do you want a spanking?". I whirled around and walked back in there and said, "What are we spanking my daughter for?" She said for looking at FIL's pill bottles. I said, "So we are going to spank MY child for LOOKING at something?!" Where she said no, she'd never spank Lyla, ever. GRRR! I went off on DH on the way home about how everything Lyla got into something EVERYONE started hollering at her at the same time!! DH and I were RIGHT THERE! She's our child, if she needs to be directed, redirected or any kind of discipline its for US to administer!!! She does NOT need every adult in the room yelling "NO" at her at the same time. Anyway, that's a side issue I have with them and luckily those moments are on the rare side, but when they happen I get very upset. Even more so because DH says it's just something that's going to happen and to accept it. He's going to get very upset with me one day when I backhand his sister and lose my cool completely with them.

I'm sure y'all didn't care about all that, but I keep thinking about it and needed to get that out. Thanks for the 'ear'.
i would be furious!! BIL and SIL have told me several times i need to smack Lucas' hand and it has really pissed me off. They have backed off on mentioning it, but i would still be concerned with them watching him...

i would ask your midwife just to be safe...i hope it's just annoying pregnancy symptoms

i have it in my right leg, it is sooo annoying. it's worse when i am tired too

i asked my provider today about the hitting the puppet thing. She said one of the little girls there likes to role play with dolls a lot and put them in chairs and sometimes yells at them. She also said she does the finger shaking with her kids only, but it's more in a playful way and they are joking around. She isn't sure about the hitting part, just said that sometimes the one kid hits everything, but she hasn't specifically seen them doing what he is doing.
