Weird bumps

Has anyone seen this before? Lucas has these weird bumps on his legs and some on his cheeks as well. He has weird dry patches on his back only and his ped said it was mild excema, could it be the same thing? Maybe he just has sensitive skin? DH gets bumps as well because he has sensitive skin but his are more red.

Yea Simon has these too. More so on his chest and arms. I think it's mostly just sensitive skin or maybe from sweating. I didnt even bother asking the doctor about them. LOL!

Aiden has so many random things like that that pop up and then go away. We haven't used any different products or anything, so I'm thinking some of it is just from crawling on the ground. My pedi said it's so common to get random rashes like that.

I didn't even think about it from being dragged on the ground. We havn't changed anything either.

Isabelle gets these on her face. I think its from sweat. They come and go without me doing anything.

Yep, E gets the same thing on her thighs sometimes. They won't even be red, you only notice them if you feel them. She also gets random red bumps here and there. I chalk it up to sensitive baby skin and as long as they go away and don't get worse, I let it be.

Teagan gets random skin things too. Could be really mild eczema or just run of the mill baby skin sensitivity. Nothing to worry about, especially if its not red and isn't bothering him.

Same here as everyone else. Clara and DS both get weird skin rashes, bumps, bruises, scrapes. It's hard to tell what any of it is from with these two so I just look for major things now like an accompanying fever or blood, if not, then I call it good Biggrin

Kinda off topic but I think that daycare should warn us before we pick up our kids that they've been painting. Otherwise, purple and blue bruise-like splotches can cause a mild heart attack.

Both mine have them. DS1 has the weird dry skin thing too...which he's actually not had for a few months now you've made me think about it. I took him to thee docs and he said it was mild eczema/sensitive skin and he'd grow out of it and now you've made me think about it he has Smile Nothing to worry about!!

It looks like it could be a very mild case of keratosis pilaris. I have it and I get bumps like that on my arms and legs. I get a lot of them though. It could also just be random skin irritation.

are they red? DH has a lot of red bumps all over the back of his arms it almost looks like a rash but he has always had it.

Sarah, I have been putting baby aveeno on it. I don't think it bothers him, but I know dry skin can feel itchy or feel yuck so I put it on anyways.

I have keratosis pilaris on my arms, never really thought about it though!! It's nothing like what the boys have though. Their "spots" look exactly like the ones in the pic Janice put up, skin coloured and anywhere/everywhere. And sporadic, not all clumped together like with keratosis pilaris Smile

dry skin with eczema. Try a good and thick moisturizing cream after bath. glaxal base works great here. Don't know if it is available in the US. Laroche-Posay makes the Lipikar cream, it is phenomenal, but expensive.
