Thing you love most about him: He is such a rock for me when I need it. He also does what he says he will, even if it was just calling me when he said he would while we were dating (that is such a far cry from my first marriage)

Occupation:Professional student, getting my PhD in the genetics of threatened species
Where did you grow up?: Mostly New Jersey with a smattering of New Mexico
Did you ever run away from home?: Yep. When I was about 9, my twin BFFs and I packed our most precious belongings into kerchiefs tied to sticks and headed down the road on our bikes. My mom found us about an hour later. She was not pleased.
Who was your first celebrity crush?: Jordan Knight from NKOTB. He and I were going to get married.
Did you go to college? If so, where?: Graduated with my BS in Biology from the University of New Mexico
At what age did you know you wanted kids?: I've always known
How many kids did you want when you were younger?: Three. Probably because I'm one of three.
How many do you want now?: Two.
Do you/are you BF?: Yep, still going entirely too strong at almost 21 months. I'm ready for her to be done but she's not and my plan was to let her self-wean. And I'm stubborn.
Have you ever home-schooled or thought about it?: I've considered it but I like my career too much.
Do you have any hobbies?: I bike. Its all I have time for these days. I used to rock climb. Does posting like a crazy person on PG.org count as a hobby? DH would say it does. Well, he'd call it an obsession.
Have you ever traveled internationally?: Yep. I've traveled to Berlin all by my lonesome for a conference and took a few extra days to explore. I've also been to Canada and Mexico a few times. We plan to do lots more traveling once the kids are older and we have money. We're also thinking about moving abroad.
Are you religious?: Born and raised atheist and remain so to this day.

I had six different majors in college and failed out of two schools before I buckled down, majored in Biology and proceeded to get straight As in preparation for grad school.

When and where did you meet?: We met through a friend on Oct. 4 2004.
Are you married? If so, when? If not, is it in the works?: Married legally in a bar by a friend on Sept 18, 2008. Married on the beach in Cozumel Mexico with friends and family on June 26, 2009.
Is he the father of your kids?: I'm pretty sure
Are you in agreement about having more?: Yep. He's always wanted two and has convinced me (no, Teagan convinced me) that two was better than three.
Thing you love most about him: I love love love that we can be nerdy together and that he's freakishly smart so he understands what it is that I do.

Quick summary of LOs birth: My water broke at 3am at 38w4d. She was born via natural water birth in a birth center 18 hours later. Wouldn't have changed anything for the world.
Stats: 26ish lbs? 32ish inches? Size 2T, OS cloth diapers, size 6 shoes.
Latest Milestone: Her vocabulary is picking up and her pronunciation is improving.
Milestone you're most looking forward to: Jumping (because who doesn't like to jump?)

What do you think LO will be he/she grows up? An anorexic ballerina.
Is LO in daycare (school for the older set)?: Yep, she goes to a fabulous daycare.
LOs favorite thing in the world right now: All things water.
LOs least favorite thing in the world right now: FOOD.

Pregnancy!
Are you pregnant?: Nopes.
Do you want to be pregnant?: Who me? Never.
What's your birth plan?: I'm torn between using the birth center again or trying a home birth. It worked out marvelously last time but it'll be my last birth and I love the idea of a home birth. If our house were bigger and we had a nice tub I'd be all for it.
Are you excited for the birth?: YES. Not for pregnancy but for the birth. Is that weird?
How long will your maternity leave be if you're taking one?: Probably 6 weeks this time. Grad students only get 6 weeks paid leave, we don't have the savings we did last time, and I could lose my funding if I take longer when I'm on a fellowship. BOOOO. Though my mentor would totally not care if I took longer and won't say anything if I do. So, we'll see.
What do you plan to do differently when this LO arrives?: I'm going to cherish the tiny phase. DD ballooned up so quickly that I didn't get much of a tiny NB phase. Since next baby will be my last, I'm going to just soak every minute in. I feel like I was in such a rush to see Teagan grow up! What's wrong with me?!

How many do you want now?: Probably just the one, SLIM chance of two. Three would make me change my name and skip the country.
Do you/are you BF?: We did until 13 months, at which point DD self-weaned with a vengeance!
Have you ever home-schooled or thought about it?: Definitely not--I do NOT have the temperament!
Do you have any hobbies?: Sewing (have a baby clothes business with my SIL on the side), camping & hiking, reading (well, before kids, anyway!)
Have you ever traveled internationally?: Yes, to Canada, Mexico, Montserrat, England & Scotland, Bahamas, and now Costa Rica just last week

Let's see...uh...well, a fact most people don't know about me was that I was born and lived my first 18 months on a Seminole Indian Reservation in the Everglades (my parents were teachers). I still have a few Seminole dolls and baby clothes

When and where did you meet?: In NYC in 2002, through mutual friends (I was work friends with one of his roommates' girlfriends)

Are you in agreement about having more?: Yes--We are in total agreement that we both feel pretty sure we're good with one, but will sit down and have a soul searching discussion around when Addy turns 3 and make a real, final decision one way or the other then (barring accidental intervention from the universe, of course...don't want to tempt fate here!).

Is LO in daycare (school for the older set)?: Yes, four part time days/week, and stays with Grandma one day (although for the summer, that day is now home with Daddy)

Did you ever run away from home?: I think I did once, but my grandma lived down the road and I went there.

At what age did you know you wanted kids?: I always knew. I went through a stage where I said I didn't want kids, but I knew I really did.

Occupation: Counselor and Site Director for Community Mental Healthy Agency.
When and where did you meet?: We're high school sweethearts. We were both in the band together but got to know each other when we ended up next to each other in study hall.
Are you married? If so, when? If not, is it in the works?: We got married in July 2003.
Is he the father of your kids?: I hope so! lol He is, most definitely. The oldest looks exactly like him.
Are you in agreement about having more?: We seem to be!
Thing you love most about him: He's a good listener and he makes me laugh. He is a great dad. He's my best friend.
Thing that drives you nuts about him: He's lazy when he's home -he doesn't want to do any house work unless I am right there working next to him or I tell him specifically what to do. He leaves stuff sitting around everywhere and rarely cleans up after himself. If it were up to him, we'd never leave the house. I have to plan all outings/vacations or we'd never do anything or go anywhere.

Do you/are you BF?: I did for 3 mo with DS and 2 with DD but after seeing consultants, trying herbs, pumping, trying anything and everything, I never produced more than 1/2 oz. It was really hard on me and I felt horrible, but both babies have done well with formula at least!
Have you ever home-schooled or thought about it?: No way- I envy those that can though
Do you have any hobbies?: Besides oggling my babies and pg.org? Taking pics of my family, watching movies, going for walks as a family, bonfires, grilling out, hanging out with friends and family doing nothing

Quick summary of LOs birth: induction at 41+3. Born via c/s after 24 hours of labor and stalling at a 4. Looking back I was screwed the moment I followed DH to that awful place in the middle of no where.
Stats: I have no idea. 25 pounds? Zero idea on height other than 18 months pants actually fit him, but he needs 24 month shorts now.
Latest Milestone: Slowly improving his language skills and is really enjoying climbing. Gave me a heart attack this morning at the playground climbing a tall ladder that I didn't think he could even get up on period.
