What would you do??ot

So lately since running and calorie counting, I have been really looking into what I or we eat in America.. I have started posting more tid bits on it on FB, just so people can read what I read and educate themselves. It might not help everyone but Im sure it will help a person realize or think a little bit about it. Ive kinda gone off too on the conspiracy route where I believe the government likes to make us sick with food, products, etc to make money off of us.. But I posted something yesterday about MILK!.. and holy crap there were really only 2 people that had a problem with it, one was an actual dairy farmer so I get why they were upset but the other one really had no clue why milk is "beneficial".. I do feel bad that I made the dairy farmer feel as if I was slamming her husbands profession but that wasnt what I was trying to do..

I really just need just opinons on if its justified to post my little findings or should i just keep them to myself?.. I would hate to hurt peoples feelings but that is why most kids and adults in America are hugely obese, and have so many dang health problems.. And cancer is a whole other issue with me..

Is posting my findings annoying to any of you or could you see why they would be annoying?

It's your FB and you can post whatever you want to post on it. If any one of my friends posts something that offends me I ignore it or if I have someone who constantly posts stuff I find annoying (like my cousins super negative, every 5 minute updates) I unsubscribe from them.

If you are concerned about a particular individual you can customize your settings for that post to hide it from them, but we still live in a free country and you can express yourself and your ideas, views and information you find important on your FB, so I wouldn't worry about it. If this person is upset with you because your opinion is different from hers (or her husbands) that is her issue. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. That's my 2 cents.

You're preaching to the choir when I see your posts. I've been known to stock my parents' refrigerators with healthy alternatives and hand out copies of "The Omnivores Dilemma" for Christmas. So, nope, not annoying to me. There's a reason I'm a vegetarian and its not because I think its wrong to eat cows. It forces me to cook my meals from scratch (which helps me avoid processed foods) and forces me to avoid fast food restaurants. Vegetarianism: the lazy person's solution to healthy eating!

haha! Okay, I know it's not funny but I do it as well. I have L&D nurses on my friends list and I post lots of stuff about how dangerous hospital birth can be and how terrible their managed birth policies are. They'll either educate themselves or get over it and block me from their news feed. I know for a fact that at least one of my friends is looking into her birth and the managed process that could have led to a 4th degree () tear she had and is looking into natural birth for future babies. She appreciated my info and if she's the only person that it helps that's good enough for me!

Either way, whatever, no skin off my back. I also post lots of information about healthy eating and I've also done the milk thing. One of my good friends (actually several) are dairy farmers, they get over it as well or don't read it or whatever.

Like Anna said, FB is open for you to post what you like. People can choose to ignore it not have you on their feed they read if they don't like the stuff you write.

If I was annoyed (highly doubt I would be based on the topic) then I would just block seeing your posts.

Your posts obviously don't bother me one bit. I've stated on here before that I don't feel that milk is necessary part of someone's diet. If someone has an issue, they can ignore you, unsubscribe from you, or unfriend you on FB. I'm pretty sure a few people have done one of those choices with me. Lol
