Just a weird wondering what is in your kid's rooms?
Ronin has his bed with the mattress on the floor next to it and apart from three hooks on the wall ( which due to the mattress on the florr can't be used) is all. the wardrobe with his clothes is still in the area in front of the nursery, and will remain the nursery wardrobe because of the size, i can store unused baby stuff in there and have lots of clothing sizes, towels, washers wraps wtc all in one spot. His bookcase is still in the nursery mainly because he is being very naughty with books recently and they are all old books of mine and hubbys in the bookcase right now.
Teagan has her queen-size bed, a small table next to her bed, her big bookcase, her dresser, the change table/diaper storage unit, and about 12 bazillion toys. I'm fretting over how we're going to fit another kid in there before they're both in beds. DH wants to just stick the next kid in the bed with Teagan but I can't see how that's going to work. Maybe it will. I also can't imagine that #2 will go straight to a bed after we stop co-sleeping at around a year. So, the crib will have to go in there somewhere. But where?! Its so small. Ugh, thanks for bringing this up Wendy!
Now, they actually have toys in their room but that was born out of necessity. So, now Clara has her crib, a dresser and a kitchen play thing. Her room is tiny though so that's all the room there is. In our old house where we had room for toys to be elsewhere we didn't keep toys in the kids' rooms, it used to be just their bed and a dresser. I'm going to call my decorating minimalist which is code for I'm bad at it and hate doing it.
Haha my de orating is whats cheap and will do the job. Ronin's room is blue simply because the whole house is painted the same. I am going to wait for him to choose a colour before decorating ( i'm hoping the nursery will be repainted when we do living areas). His room just looks so lonely which is why i wondered
Tobey's room is only 6ft square. So he has his crib, a wardrobe a few books and a few cuddly toys. He only sleeps in there so he doesn't need much else really. DS1 has just started spending time in his room when he's not sleeping so he has a few toys in his room too

Odin has a crib, the top twin bunk off of DS1's bed, dresser, glider and ottoman. Pretty maxed out on furniture at that point. I have a little thing on the wall that holds some pictures and threw up some wall stickers that match the crib bedding (frogs and bugs in pastel colors).
Gonna have to work on getting Odin in that twin bed if Archer ever wants to use a crib in the next 4 months or so. I'm thinking I'll start to intoroduce the crib for naps around 6 months.

Madison's room has her changer (which is a dresser underneath), Crib, Tall bookcase, toy organizer, glider/footstool, Dresser/bookshelf, a small bookshelf, hamper, diaper genie and toys of course. It's a farm themed room we got the bedding and such when we had her. We're lucky because her room isn't a bad size. The kid has a ton of stuff.
I have pictures, just not on me currently. Otherwise I'd share those instead of rambling.
Okay, on one wall he has his crib. To the left of it is one of those 9 cube organizers. 4 cubes hold books (and are full lol), the other 5 cubes hold toys (block sorters, eye spy bottles I made, ring stacker, something else I don't remember, and an annoying elmo that sings when you put animal in his tractor). Next wall is his window and hooks that I put a 3 carriers and a jacket on. Next wall has a glider and dresser. It's a good sized dresser that houses all of his clothes, extra room decor items that I have never hung up here (I've hung up most things, but not all from the nursery at the last house), extra sheets and mattress protectors, shoes, etc. Then you have the door ...and closet on the 4th wall. Closet is full of baby stuff. At least I'm hoping that's what's in most of those boxes. It's a really small room (the base doesn't even consider it an actual bedroom b/c it's so small) and we could never put an actual bed in there without blocking the window completely. In the coming months Aiden will be moved to the guest bedroom. I'm thinking about moving his dresser into the guest room and giving Baby Girl the guest room dresser because it's smaller and will allow more room (plus it's girly b/c it's my old dresser).....but then the nursery furniture won't match at all. But if I give Aiden all of the guest bedroom furniture both rooms will match. The guest room is decorated with DH's USAF ( Erin!!!) related stuff so his nursery plane stuff will fit in well. Ha ha.
Lucas has his crib, glider/ottoman, changing table that I don't ever change him on anymore b/c he is too big & squirmy now and I hope to get rid of very soon, a tall bookcase w/ stuffed animals on the bottom where he can reach & tons of books on the tops shelves where he can't, an old end table that I didn't have anywhere else for, his play workbench, and his magnetic chalkboard where he plays w/ all his letter magnets. He also has a dresser in his closet, though long ago we removed the doors from that closet b/c they were annoying and haven't replaced them yet. Oh, and tons of toys that usually make their way in from Sissy's room, though he has a few of his own that live there too.
He still has all the Classic Pooh nursery stuff that was handed down from DD. I won't be doing any redecorating until we move him to his new room at DFs house after the wedding. Though I do plan to get rid of the changing table and replace it w/ a kid-sized desk and chair and will probably switch him from his crib to a toddler bed soon.
