I was getting puked on by a 4 month old and leaning up pee puddles on the floor. Is it wrong that I put Lyla to bed an hour before her normal bedtime? She's been in there nearly an hour and is still rolling around all over her bed. I need to go take a shower. I smell.

    Wendy, Take a vacation!!

Jackie, I hope Aiden back to normal tomorrow. I'm feeling pretty cabin-feverish myself, but there's a house showing set up for tomorrow morning, so I'll have to find some place to go. Perhaps I'll go wonder through Target. . .

DH called me earlier and asked what I thought about knocking $5000 off the house just to get it sold and be done with it. I'm thinking about it.

That is what we had to do to get our house sold.

Considering my SIL has been living here for over two years now and they are just now (hopefully!!!) getting their house in VT sold for less than half of what they paid for it (it has been a ridiculous saga), I'd say if $5000 gets it sold and done, DO IT.

We were out at dinner with DH, who had a meet-the-parents night tonight but a couple of hours free between then and his last class. He's at a new school (new campus of the same school) this year so we didn't really know the neighborhood, and ended up finding an AWESOME new restaurant. Totally awesome food--delicious burgers & local beer on tap, but with lots of healthy organic options, etc., and totally family oriented but funky. It was all random old tables and chairs, with a big chalkboard, and entire shelf of kids' books, a little tv playing (nearly silent) cartoons, and free Goldfish for hungry waiting kiddos. Oh, and you order at the counter but they bring you your food, which we realized is perfect for a quick escape if necessary! There was also a big shelf of adult books and a foozeball table, and they have live music from 6-8. So--something for everybody! It's not convenient to our house but quite close to DH's new work so I'm hoping we find excuses to go there more often!

In other funny toddler news, while we were driving in the car earlier, Adair started insisting that she needed scissors to cut off her boo-boo.

Oh! And Teagan is transferring into Addy's class now (YAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!!!!!!!) so I've been getting some good TT reports this week. Apparently she was somewhat of a celebrity today.

Yeah, no kidding. Our house is worth close to 1/3 of what we paid so ....I don't even want to think about it.

Okay, I must report that as I'm typing all this stuff, Adair is sitting on the potty and shouting over and over "POO POO FROM MY 'GINA!"

Wow, I thought housing prices were bad here. We lost 10,000 when we sold our old house, and we thought that was bad.

Poo poo from her 'gina! OMG! Cracking up!
