    That was our question exactly!

I don't know what TT did, actually, just that all morning Adair and their friend Zoe were SUPER INTERESTED in where she was and what she was doing at all times. Like if she disappeared from sight for a moment they were both like "WHERE DID TT GO?!?!!??!"

I'm so happy the gang is finally getting reunited!

If we sold our house today, we would lose somewhere around $80,000. Good thing we don't need to move, right?

    Yikes. That is horrible
Our friends want to move but would lose about $40,000 if they sold today. They bought a new condo. Now you can build a brand new condo in their neighborhood for about $50,000 less than they paid. Same model and everything. And their house is almost 10 years old already. They have outgrown their house terribly, but they just don't have the option to move.

Good night, Addy! I think I'm heading to bed, too, unless someone hurries up and pops in to chat with me

That's the thing. The housing market here has never been on par with the rest of the nation. The housing market in my town is doing really well and our house as appreciated. The problem for us is that where we are moving to the housing market is insane! If our house was located over there it would sell for around $40000 more than what we are currently asking for it, which means that we'll pay that much more for house the same or crappier than ours. Our main selling issue is that it's only 2 bedroom, but it could so easily be turned into a 4 bedroom and I'm disappointed that other people can't see the potential.

Yay for reuniting the DC gang! They'll rule the school for sure.

Totally awesome food--delicious burgers & local beer on tap, but with lots of healthy organic options, etc., and totally family oriented but funky. It was all random old tables and chairs, with a big chalkboard, and entire shelf of kids' books, a little tv playing (nearly silent) cartoons, and free Goldfish for hungry waiting kiddos. Oh, and you order at the counter but they bring you your food, which we realized is perfect for a quick escape if necessary! There was also a big shelf of adult books and a foozeball table, and they have live music from 6-8. So--something for everybody! It's not convenient to our house but quite close to DH's new work so I'm hoping we find excuses to go there more often!
I have to ask . . . was it Create Cafe, Swan and Ft Lowell?

Urgh so Ronin was good and went down early tonight, then rolled off his mattress so woke up crying but is down again and I am bored. I did some sewing and almost finished a pinafore top, but need help filling a new bobbin. I need to get library books together as well, but some are in Ronin's room. I'm only still awake because I am trying to stay up a couple of times a week to at least see hubby for a short time in the day, but they are down on staff so he is likely in for a late one.

There was a big abduction story hit the news here yesterday where a young woman had been in a woman's shelter and armed people stormed the shelter, possibly after being tipped off by a women thy knew who pretended she needed the services, armed and abducted her. Thankfully she has been found alive and well tonight. Sounds liek the main perpetrator has shot himself though
