Staffers wake you up if you're sleeping? Seriously?! I would throw a **** fit if someone woke me up. Do they really think you're going to sleep through a fire alarm or something? Those are so Fing loud they'd wake the dead. You know ... I happen to know a grad student who already has an office and who would be happy to reserve a private room for you
we have a wedding next month that i am nervous to take Lucas too. It will be a catholic wedding too, so probably full out mass. I can see us spending the hour in the hallway or outside. On the bright side, the family is very pro kids at weddings so there will be a ton of other little kids running around (at least 20) so Lucas won't be the only one.
Anna, I'm glad you got things cleaned up for that unexpected showing. Did the potential buyer seem interested? If you get the wrap thing worked out, I might totally buy one from you! I'd MUCH rather give you the money than some business or a stranger. I really don't understand the price of those things. Its just a long piece of fabric! I'd think that the fabric choice would be the hardest part. But .. I'm also a sewing moron so what do I know.
For woven wraps, some is just the name (Didymos basics are completely ridiculously priced IMO), some is the material (bamboo, hemp, and silk weaves), some is the result of it being made in another country and all the fees that come into play getting it into the US (my new pink and brown Neobelle can't be sold by US retailers), some is the pattern (think Didy Pfaus and such), and some is because they are hand woven (Girasols are all hand woven). Although I do know people who have picked up long table clothes, hemmed the width, and use it as a shorty. lol

My irritation is how the heck do they expect him to do WELL with crap like this? His flight yesterday afternoon did not go well for some of the graded points (we're talking air to air dog fights here) and DH looked at his instructors and asked how the hell he was supposed to do well when he hadn't flown in a week and before that flight it had been two weeks since he had flown! So much is muscle memory and learning to get that instinct and when you're still training your body to do these things automatically having more than a few days between flights kills you! And then add in long days and lack of sleep, it's ridiculous!

Urgh this is a nightmare. Even if we were staying the night you can only book into the rooms at 2pm which is when the wedding starts, so if we wanted to use the room for Ronin to have a nap we would have had to stay tonight as well.
Good luck! I would bring your carrier. At least then he could be on your back leaving you two free hands to navigate. Maybe he'll get soooo tired he'll pass out back there some?
