we used to have kmart here for some reason they are all gone now. We are getting Targets next year. I am SO excited I love target
I am sitting here saying Mummum to Ronin to see if he will say it, he just says Dadad or bubbub in response then after a couple of tries gives this frustrated little shriek or says Dadad in a frustrated tone. It's like he is trying to get across, "hey idiot, no matter how much you want I am not playing your game"
haha Lucas still only says mama when he is upset
We really only have Kmart, we have a Target country but their service sucks and they are so expensive. I can get something similar, especially for clothes at nearly half the price at Kmart
the last time i remember having a Kmart i was like 17 and wouldn't be caught dead there lol. Now i want it back! we have Zellers, but those are being turned into Target. And of course we have Wal mart which is always a nuthouse
i actually just had a nap while DH watched Lucas. I can't remember the last time i was able to have a nap:) now i am starving!
The last place I lived and here Kmart is really all I've had so I'm used to it. Theres a couple of things I miss about where I used to live, mostly little boutique/infdpendant stores that had awesome stuff that I couldn't afford but loved looking at.
Doing the I killed chat dance
I left to make ice cream.
Aiden hasn't even said "mama" when he's upset in like a week. It's ALL dada right now.
It annoys me thats it all Dadada all the time, when Daddy is never at home and doesn't do much with Ronin. I do everything for him and it's always Dadada
I should probably do something today. I havent' done crap all day.
Made the mistake of feeding Aiden a bite of the pumpkin ice cream that I made. Now he wants more. And is being fussy b/c of it. Stupid me!
Lyla doesn't say mama either. Sometimes it sounds like she's saying mama when she's upset, but I don't know if I can even count it.
I went to the commissary. Made ice cream.
And I did throw a load of diapers in the washer and dryer. WAY too lazy to hang them outside like I normally do.
I recenlty had that issue with a banana split. I gave her one bite and she demanded more and threw a fit as a result. On the plus side of that for about 2 days we were actually able to get some food in her! Like 3 or 4 bites at every meal! It was exciting.
I should go wash all Ronin's clothes so I can hang them before hubby goes to work, rather than trying to get it done in his break, but that requires motivation. I have a huge amount of hubby's dishes from cooking tea the other night to do as well.
I have noticed that my spellling is horrendous lately! WOW.
Wendy, I guess the motivation fairy is off this week. I haven't had any motivation all week!
You have a reason being in your first tri, I'm just lazy
I'm lazy too. lol.

leave it. thats his job
i cleaned the bathroom today!!! and i used baking soda and vinegar for the first time and OMG why havn't i been doing that all along? my bathtub was sparkling!!!!!!!!
jackie, recipe for pumpkin ice cream?? yum!
I'll post it when I'm not lazy.
most of my house is cleaned with just baking soda, water, and vinegar. It really does work!
If I left them they would never get done. There are some dishes I will not touch because I had asked him to wash them and he didn't and they are so gross.
and it makes your house look cleaner then regular cleaning products!!
dump them in his man cave
my friends dh is the same. he won't do dishes because he knows his wife will give in and do them. When he lived on his own with a room mate she would come over and do the dishes for them. they were eating off of pot lids and his room mate said "maybe we should do dishes?" and he said "nah ---- is coming over it's ok" i would murder DH

Oh heck no! That wouldn't fly here. lol.
DH will do dishes, but he doesn't clean them nearly as well as me. I end up having to rewash a few dishes each time.
I have to use disinfectant on some of the floor because thats where the cats poop, so the whole house ends up being mopped with a very heavy dilution of disinfectant and water
Never would have married a guy like that! DH's apartment was very clean (cleaner than mine!) when we were dating. He still will clean up when he cooks or now and then when he takes pity on me! I LOVE that my DH is a great cook and a great housekeeper!
he will empty the dishwasher once in awhile or sometimes load it, but it is mainly me. If i ask him to he would however. I just never ask
I guess I should try this baking soda and vinegar thing. I'm always afraid my house will smell like vinegar though. I hate that smell. But with being pg, I can't use that chemically stuff.
You dilute the vinegar in water. The smell goes away really fast and isn't that bad since you're not using straight vinegar.
The only time it actually smells is when i used vinegar in my old steam mop. My new one I only need to use water.
I don't ask either. I just try to telepathically relay the message that I'd like for him to clean up for me. It never works! I try to not get mad that he didn't get my telepathic message, but geez! We've been together for 10 years! Shouldn't he know how to read my mind by now?
Hubby did some washing up on his last day off, but his idea of washing up is fill the sink with the dishes, put straight hot water o them and soak. With the last round of dishes they are
still in the water, It's cold and gross now, but I will get to them today. I wasn't feeling it last night.
Today my plan is coffee, markets and library. I also need to get my $75 store credit ceriesturned into a gift card so I can use it at a different store, buy some birthday invites, groceries and a few bits and pieces. I'll probably spread it over the whoile weekend so I get out of the house a few times.
Hubby wants to get a dishwasher but the space under the sink isn't big enough. I couldn't tell hoiw clean hubby was before we moved in together, he lived with his Mum who did everything for him.
Maybe I need a steam mop. I know you have tile, but does anyone have wood laminate flooring? We have it in our living room and it always looks filmy and streaky. It can't get too wet so I'm limited on how to clean it, but I'd like something that makes it pretty and shiney and CLEAN!
Anyone have any books they recommend, I am running out of things to find to read and don't get long to look because by that point Ronin wants to be pulling books off shelves and I can't lock him in the kids section and walk away, they frown on that
I wouldn't use it on laminate wood. I would imagine it would damage it since it's super hot steam.
I want a steam mop but we have lino so not sure if it would work well, but no matter how often I mop it never looks clean.
That's the problem I have with the wood laminate! I hate that!
I suppose I could Google it!
Yup, we can't afford to change the floors either and while we have little ones I would prefer to have the lino down because then it can be destroyed and not better flooring once we can afford it.
We have the old fashioned linoleum in the kitchen and bathroom here. Works just fine. The floors never look clean, but the steam mop is a lot faster and easier than anything else. I tried scrubbing the floor on my hands and knees once and it didn't look any better then either. lol
Kid is quiet. Uh oh. lol
He was in the bathroom trying to reach the toilet paper.
Always a bad sign. I've put Ronin back in the walker. I should really change his nappy and get him dressed in something warm to go up town.
I should start dinner. But I'm lazy. lol.
I wish I could let Ronin roam free around the house but with the cats pooping everywhere it's just not possible.
I need to buy a nice after dinner treat tonight because I plan to snuggle up on the couch and watch Finding Nemo
Aiden is in his walker right now. lol. I like it b/c he can reach less b/c the walker is so big.
yes, yes he should! i always wonder why DH doesn't get mine either.
i do. what do you use now? we use the swiffer wet jet with the wood solution. my bff uses a steam mop for her wood flooring and swears by it.
yes same here. This house is only 8 years old and had one owner before us, but they were hard on the house. The tile flooring has a lot of chips and marks on it that we can't get off. I hate cleaning only to have it still look like crap afterwards!! They also took the cheapest route possible on just about everything here:rolleyes: and they left the house FILTHY!!! i want to punch them if i ever see them again.
Janice, yours looks like hardwood. Mine is wood laminate, and it's not supposed to get wet. I've used a regular mop wrung out really well, a clorox wet jet mop (which I don't have anymore because the dogs ate the sprayer on it) and a sponge mop. Nothing makes it look shiney and clean. It always looks streaky, filmy and dull.
