I ended up getting a Coleman 6 man tent with the screened porch because DH wanted the porch "to hide from the bugs." Descent reviews. For the occasional campers that we'll be should serve us well. Best yet amazon is doing $20 off coleman purchases over $100.

My husband ran by the house earlier this afternoon to tell me that he lived through his first flight in his career plane. lol. He was soooo excited to finally get the fly it and in his words "I have a lot of learning to do because I suck right now." What every wife wants to hear. Blum 3

OH! I think I'm getting some of my energy back finally - today I hit up 3 stores and walked Aiden to the neighborhood playground! Even have diaper laundry going.
Let's just not talk about the dishes in the sink. I don't have enough energy for those too. Blum 3

Anna, I hope you're not taking the littles with you by yourself to get your IUD put in! There's no way I could've dealt with getting that thing put in while dealing with TWO littles.

Jackie- Yay tent! You're going to have to take pics of your DH hiding in the tent. Smile Yay for energy too!

Stacy- Rain? What is rain?

Leigh- They have chewables?! OMG, you just rocked my world.

Ugh. I've been sitting at my desk all freaking day aside from running to get lunch with DH. Booooooooo.

I always wonder why we end up spending so much $ camping as well. We have a big old tent too. Last time we fit the travel pnp in there so that everyone could get a decent night sleep and not hear Odin complain...lol.

Put your feet up Jackie! The dishes can wait for you.

Leigh--I've heard the motion sickness is passed down in families. I have no clue about my parents but if thats true then my kids are in for it cause I still get sick sitting in the back still.

Anna--Take snacks! I've had to deal with both little kids at the pedi office and the only thing that got us through was snacks for Odin and some stickers. Why the heck they make the lady with a newborn and crazy toddler wait for more than 5 minutes is beyond me. Doesn't hauling in a load of little kids scream 'get me in and out of here now'?!?!

LOL Molly. My DH is the same but he was a boy scout forever. Have you been camping yet with DD?

I had to bring mine but Angel she was 2 months old, and (B) it was at the birth center and a nurse watched her for me. Not sure if your doctor's office is that accommodating, since most aren't!

Yes, she's too much big by weight for the infant drops anymore, so I was looking at the Children's stuff and what do you know--chewables! I rocked my own world on that one. Adair usually FREAKS OUT when she sees a syringe, but I guarantee you she will eat a pill and ask for more.

Yes, Boo! You sound way too productive today!

Oh oh, we have rain too. Its coming down. It was all hot and in the 80's yesterday so this is a suprise.

Hot in the 80s? That's cute. Wink

I haven't had to use pain medicine in awhile but I am SO getting chewables next time I'm somewhere that sells such things. Teagan would eat the entire bottle of vitamins if I'd let her.

I get motion sickness pretty badly, but neither of my kiddos do, thankfully.

DD1 loves those chewables! Best invention when it comes to pain meds!

Don't worry her comment had me laughing too. Wink I'm finding the weather in NC to be FANTASTIC so far. After years of desert life temps in the 80s, even with high humidity, is like a nice spring day to me. Even when I was home and they were hitting upper 90s with humidity I didn't find it nearly as bad as I did outside in Vegas when it was 114*. Blum 3

I did the dishes. *sigh* And then made veggie burgers. I wish I had a picture of DH's face when he took a nice big bite of what he thought was a hamburger. "Seroiusly?! I had my first strike flight today and you feed me veggie mush for my dinner?!" Lol He ate 1.5 of them so it couldn't have been that bad.
But the dinner dishes? Yep, not doing those.

ROFL I will agree that humidity does make 80s WAY less pleasant than they are here. But still. ROFL

Same here. Adair begs for her vitamins every day.

I sure hope not. Not after he insults your dinner choice.

Teagan has a nasty looking bug bite on her leg but it doesn't seem to be bothering her at all. Kids are so resilient. I'd probably be complaining hardcore. Remember waaaay back when we used to freak out about the tiniest little imperfections on our babies' skin. Now T comes come covered from head to toe (literally) in yellow paint, has bruises all over (causes unknown), and massive bugs bites and all I can think is "meh".

It's actually more concerning to me when Aiden doesn't have scrapes, bruises, etc all over him. Makes me think he's not as active and therefore not feeling well. HA!

We have movement! Felt 4 little kicks tonight. Biggrin I've felt what may have been kicks before, but it's always just been just one and then nothing for days. As far as I know I was losing my mind those times, so it's good to have a few to confirm that I'm not nuts!

Sorry, our computer is also our television and as we all know, typing on phones is awkward and lame. I put on Caillou to distract Adair long enough to accept dinner (worked like a charm, btw)...she was screaming for yogurt and refusing everything else, but I put a plate of spaghetti, chicken, and broccoli rabe in front of her after twenty seconds of that and she ate ALL of it. And is now enraptured by her almond milk. We've been doing coconut milk because it's the closest to breastmilk but we just ran out right now so I gave her some of DH's almond milk...now she's drinking it like candy and shouting "ALMOND! ALMOND!" ...guess we'll switch! Biggrin
