Erin, I want your apple pie!!! I finished off the pecan pie I had made this morning. Apple sounds *really* good right now. Maybe I'll make DH buy some frozen apple turnovers or something. Would rather have your pie though.

Janice, that's a totally cute picture to me!

anna, I hope today is going better!!!

Justine, I hope you feel better soon. ((hugs))

thanks! darn, i was hoping this was it for you.

No outtakes this year Erin. He was happy the whole time, just wouldn't stay still or look at me lol. I'm going to try again tomorrow, but make DH help me this time. If we get a better one we will use it, if not we will go with that one.

We've been busy with family this weekend, and we did adopt the dog I posted a picture of. She is absolutely the sweetest, most loving dog ever. We took her to the vet today - no heartworms, no lyme disease and healthy! Next up is to get her spayed, microchipped, and vaccinated. I already have it set up with a local humane society that does all that as low cost services, just waiting for them to call me with the date. I'm so glad we went the rescue route - there really are wonderful dogs out there waiting to find their forever home!

Oh, and Jackie - DD1 has named her Zoe. She heard the name at one of the shelters we visited. So we have a Zoe now, too.

Jackie, how are you feeling? Are you considering castor oil or blue or black cohash yet?

I was just going to post that I did go through with DH wanting me to try castor oil cooked in eggs. I did 2T, but doubt if I ingested it all since there was oil in the pan and plate after I was done. lol. But other than the eggs being oily, you can't tell at all in case y'all were wondering.

It's been great, really. She is the most laid back dog. We wanted to find a dog that would not only tolerate the kids, but love them. And we definitely found that! Her only issue at the moment is house training. It seems that she was most likely a house dog with a family, but 23 days in the pound has her house training a bit iffy. She's re-learning pretty quickly though.

Just ate them like an hour ago. Nothing to report other than oily eggs aren't my favorite but I'll have no issue eating eggs after this. lol
