Nah I don't Sara though I heard someone may have just become one. Can't remember who though:P
So I had my work thing, Ronin was awesome all day we started at 8 and left at 3. He didn't have a nap. I left him with hubby while I went and bought food because we had nothing. I was gone for one hour, came back and it was really quite. I told hubby if Ronin was asleep I would personally castrate him myself because he won't sleep tonight. Guess who is asleep at 4 in the afternoon. Thank goodness we are going to a party tonight so I can push his bedtime out a bit. It will kill me in the morning though if my body decides I've had enough sleep at 5am again. I think Ronin can sleep with me tonight that way if I am ready for bed and he's not he can just crawl over the bed until he falls asleep. Hubby also put Ronin in our bed, he is currently going commando under his shorts because he pooped in his nappy at the party, I think he's just had too much fruit lately and couldn't recognize it until he had started because he came straight over to me and told me and then finished on the toilet.
Anna- it could be something Lyla's fed him. Will he drink from a sippy? I don't know if he'd be getting enough on a consistent basis to cause a problem.
Kristi- your defense isn't going to be that bad. Defenses really aren't something you fail. Its supposed to be up to your PI whether you defend and they shouldn't recommend defense unless you're ready. Masters defenses might be a little different but that's how mine's going to be. I'm totally done with the hard part. Now for the fun part!
Wendy- have you started night training with Ronin?
I didn't tap into that wine last night. I think all the anxiety and stress sapped all my energy and I was ready for bed around 9:30. We went for a nice walk when we got home. Teagan now likes to run down the sidewalk so it was a brisk walkThen we went out to dinner. I ordered the most expensive glass of wine on the menu and ordered the trout. I figured fish had caused me so much anguish the last few months that they deserved to be eaten. We ordered Teagan her own little 12' cheese pizza and she ate the WHOLE thing. I think that's more food than she's eaten in the past week. Kid likes pizza. She also really liked the open kitchen format at the restaurant. She kept saying "They making my pizza?!"
My house is such a disaster. I really hadn't though AT ALL about what I was going to do beyond yesterday at 3pm. DH gave me a gift certificate to the climbing gym so I'm thinking of using that. I hope to see Leigh there!! Then I'll get my drink on. Need to get some Christmas on at some point. Oooh, I think our annual trip to buy more lights is in order! I'm going to deck the crap outta these halls. Its the first year we're having family here for X-mas since 2008. I'm excited!!
Erin, that's completely awesome that you found parts to be "lame."![]()
Anna, Lyla feeding Kole could very well be a culprit. Might not be milk alone. Although I'd still lean toward virus. I never know where we pick up anything.
My parents made it in last night. Aiden amazingly went down for bed in Zoe's room (crib is still set up as a toddler bed). Think we can keep this up? Poor kid was confused though. Zoe had another wonderful amazing night of sleep. She's sooooo easy of a newborn compared to Aiden (and I never thought he was bad at all!) that I'm pretty sure once she's out of this newborn phase she'll screw me over.![]()
Not yet, he still wakes up soaked pretty much every morning, I get a dry day maybe once a fortnight. I am not doing anything to mess with the STTN either. He does generally wake up dry from naps, however he goes top the toilet first and he hadn't yesterday which is why I worried. I think I just need to suck it up and buy him a second set of sheets which would solve the angst because it's no big deal if he wets then, I just wipe the plastic cover down with eucalyptus oil and put a fresh set on, at the moment I have to worry about washing and drying. Oh and our bed doesn't have a plastic cover or a second set of sheets.
Ronin must have had a bad dream last night, I heard him and went to check and he was almost crying in his sleep. A few pats on the back and he was fine. I also slept in until my alarm this morning for the first time in ages.
Woo hoo, Erin, big congrats to you! I knew you would rock it!
Jackie, glad Zoe is sleeping great for you! I always think it is well deserved for the 2nd child to be easier, even if the first wasn't difficult. What does Aiden think of his new little sister?
So I have been thinking of names for Bubble (yup the kid might be named before it's even conceived) We are set for a girl, Abigail Jaqueline so I have been thinking of boys names. This last week I have really been stuck on Elijah, but can't think of any middle names from the few people I know on hubby's side of the family to go with it. I figure because Ronin has middle names from my side this next baby should of middle names from his side. Then I thought maybe I could use Jack, lots of Jack's on my side, but none of them mean anything to me they are just family names. Nothing important really just rambling, Ronin is off having a really good sleep which is good because we are off to a birthday party this afternoon.
Can I just jump in for one second and thank you ladies for getting me back on here! As I browse around I keep coming up with questions I have been wanting to ask other Mom's but don't know the right people IRL to ask. (Besides Jackie of course but I already ask her what seems like a million things a day) Thanks for reminding me what great a community this is!
Come hang out with us anytime, you can find out what to expect in a years time from your little girl. I can't promise you it will be a great experience always knowing that though.
