one of my friends called her daughter Abigail. they call her Abby all the time.

    Welcome Becky!!

Lucas gave me his stomach virus. I felt like utter crap Friday night and nothing would stay in. I was worried about the baby and just trying to keep hydrated so hopefully everything is ok :/

5 Days!!! 5 days until we move. I'm nervous and excited and anxious to get it done with!

    Welcome Becky!

My sister's oldest daughter was going to be Abigail until the day she was born and she decided she didn't look like an Abigail. I think it's a very pretty name.

Sorry about the stomach bug Janice. That sounds miserable on top of being in the first trimester too. I hope you feel better soon.

Wendy, don't do anything to mess with that STTN! Its a precious thing and PTing could totally derail you. I was dreading the sheets thing too but so far I've not had to change her sheets once and she's still only having about 50% success. There is a water proof bad under her sheets and I put a towel down under a fleece blanket. That way all I have to do is turn the fleece over and/or change the towel. But so far I haven't even had to do that because I put her down in her cloth trainers and pants. If she wets it doesn't even escape her pants because she usually wets right as she's waking up. So, it might not be the nightmare you're expecting it to be. Just put it off until STTN is in the bag.

Jackie! Woot for a good sleeper! I bet its part Zoe's personality and part your being more confident in your parenting.

    Welcome Becky!!

Sorry you're sick, Janice. NO fun.

Eeeeeeep, 5 days!! I love moving. I'd be really jazzed.

Last night was fun! We had the Addy & Rowan families over for drinks and lasagna. The girls had a great time. A few spats broke out over toys but most were easily dealt with. We're heading out for "breakfast" in a few minutes then I'm hitting up the craft supply store for X-mas decorations and then we'll be coming home to deck the halls!

I agree. Don't disturb STTN for anything as long as you can help it! I was up 4 times last night between the two kiddos. Yuck. I'm a little concerned about what moving will do to their sleep. Especially since Kole will be in his own room now.

I'm totally excited. I can't stop thinking about it. I keep looking at the floor plan and the pictures from the real estate listing and trying to plan how I'm going to organize everything! EEEEP!! So much to do this week!!

While looking for furniture at the local thrift stores yesterday, I found a Curious George shirt and bought it for Lyla. Instant hit! She LOVES 'the monkey'!

Lyla has been a hit and miss on opening doors for about 6 months. Today it finally clicked and she's been practicing all day opening and closing doors. We've entered a new era now. . . I'm a little sad.

    I like Elijah, too.
She would go by Abby more often than not. When hubby chose the name he wanted just Abby and I told him it had to be Abigail because yes Abby is cute, but what if when she gets older she needs a professional sounding name and Abby is just too cutesy. If we have an Elijah he would likely go by Eli a lot, but again there is a full name there if he needs something more grown up. Still haven't asked hubby what he thinks about Elijah though, I was falling asleep with Ronin last night when he came home.

I am a bit worried about putting blankets and stuff under him as well because it is so hot here, it's meant to get up close to 40 degrees this week. His room is fairly cool at night, but still on a hot night more warmth under him might not be good.

We went to a double birthday yesterday for two of Ronin's classmates and I was surprised at how well the kids interacted as well. Yes they are 2, sharing isn't their strong point so there were spats because of course they all wanted the same toys, but they moved on easily. They had the sprinkler hooked up on the clothes line but none of the kids really played under it.

    Where the heck is everyone?

Eli was one of our top names for a boy this last round. I should be packing or cleaning house or something, but I was hoping to get distracted by chat. I guess everyone else has better things to do.
