    Question Car seat question

Luke is moving on up and out of his infant car seat. I plan on buying a new car seat next month but am having a hard time deciding which one to get. I have decided that I want to get a new car seat for Taylor and give her old one to Luke. I'd like to get a car seat with a 5-point harness that will then convert into a booster seat. The only ones I have found on my own by searching Google were the Britax Frontier 85, Evenflo Symphony 65, and Graco Nautilus 3 in 1.

Does anyone have any experience with these car seats first hand? Is there other recommended car seats out there with the 5-point harness and booster seat feature? Like I said, I just did a quick search and found these three.

We have the Graco Nautilus Elite. It's awesome and I can keep him harnessed until 65 lbs. which is awesome.

I've heard good things about the Britax Frontier but all the moms I know swear by the Nautilus so that's the one we went with.

We have a frontier that Paulina still uses. I think it is a great car seat. It is very heavy but it is also very solid and comfortable. She used it in 5-pt harness mode until she got to heavy for that and now uses it as a booster. She has been in it for 3 years, I think. It is a great seat.

Looking at the Frontier 85, I like that the kid can stay harnessed until 85 lbs. That is higher than the Frontier we have and higher than the Nautilus.

But I kinda like the cup holder on the Nautilus. The cup holder on the Frontier 85 is right at leg level, which Paulina finds annoying in her Frontier. I like the cup holder in the Nautilus being on the arm rest.

THanks ladies. Are these the only 3 car seats out there that has the 5-point harness option that later turns into a booster? For some reason I couldn't find any others. I'm leaning towards the Nautilus mainly because of the price, since they both seem to be good, recommended seats.

I'm not sure. Those are the only three I've ever heard mentioned so I think they may be.

I got Riley the Frontier 85 and really like it. The cupholders don't seem to bother him at all.
