Potty training affecting sleep?

Jacob has usually been a good sleeper went to bed around 7.30 and up between 6.30 and 7. Then he also had a 2-3 hour nap. Now that he is potty trained he wakes up about an hour earlier because he needs the toilet! And then of course doesn't go back to sleep as he is wide awake. He is mostly dry at night as well. Naps have dropped to 1.5 hours. So he is getting about 2 hours less sleep a day. Will it naturally all fall into place? I am worried he isn't getting enough sleep!

I have no clue about the potty training affecting sleep yet. But we are dwindling on the naps as well. It used to be 2.5-3 hour naps. We are around 1-1.5 hours this past week. I am not sure if end is in sight for naps... I hope not! I hope Jake decides to sleep more for you.

This happened for Erykah when we first started potty training, but now her bladder has adjusted and she takes her normal 2-2.5 hr naps again and sleeps from about 10p till 8a! There is a light at the end of the tunnel Smile
