    He's so handsome!!!!!

Our boys are growing like weeds too - they are both around 16 pounds too! It's exhausting taking care of the 2 of them (especially since they still wake every 2-3 hours during the night for comfort), but we feel blessed too! Here's their 5 month picture I took on Monday.

We are up to 18.5 lbs at 5 months. Syd is growing so fast. She has 2 teeth and ate her first solids tonite. She gobbled down the whole jar of bananas! And here i was thinking she wasn't ready. We are still doing the split parent thing. It's hard but only 4 months until the move. Syds been sick a lot from daycare with Linus infections and RSV ...but otherwise all's good. Hopefully i won't be a stranger as much! So good to hear how everyone is doing!

My twins turned 5 months old too, they're on solids. Well more him than her because she's a fussy eater and not as hungry. They sleep through the night. No teeth yet but drooling and a lot of crying/fussiness. Finn weighs 22 pounds! 75% for height. Fae is 15 pounds, 75% for height, both doing well. It's super rough though taking care of twins, it's non-stop all day long. I am looking forward to when they can hold their own bottles and such, then maybe it'll free up a bit of time. Right now all I feel I do is feed, change diapers, feed, and so on.

Rayce and Ryin are 6 months old!

They both are around 16 lbs, have 2 teeth (bottom). We have only started cereal in their bottles on recommendation of their doctor. We are going to do baby led weaning and start feeding them some food this weekend - we are trying to avoid baby food and just use regular food right off the bat - we hope it will save us time, money and make them less picky! They are sleeping together in their crib and going down by themselves for the most part (a little fussing/crying) - most nights, they sleep until 4:00am and then need fed - hopefully they will make that at least 5:00am soon (I have to get up for work then) With the teething, some nights have been rough recently, but I'm hoping we get a teeth break! They aren't really noticing each other too much, but they do hold hands - so cute! And you can tell it's on purpose! They love their sister - they always have a smile for her!

We are just going one day at a time - and surviving at this point. It's only uphill from here!!!

My DH got a job across the state at the beginning of the school year (we are both in education). He moved 2 weeks before Syd was born. So I was over there for mat. leave and he flies home every weekend. I'm a single parent during the week...thus the "split parenting." We will be moving over to his side of the state in June when school is out and my contract is done.

ewew, but u gotta do what u gotta do.. I know the feeling like when my hubby is at work. 13 hr shifts or more on the overnight, the sleeps all day and gets up for dinner then off to work all over again! My older 2 help out with the younger 2. I screwed up my knee on wed and can't carry the babies around... Plus #3 got a bug so #1 would lay with her while I was helping #4 and making dinner..
