I start weeklies now so next apt. Is july 6th...this apt went ok....bp was 104/60..up 4lbs, no proteins in urine, heart rate for Ben was 140's. Took blood to check iron, and did swab for group B. Scheduled last u/s for July 18th....Then it decision time for vbac vs c-section.
And then  they did internal exam, wasn't prepped for that AT ALL!!! I didn't think they did that till after 36 weeks? I am 1cm dilated and 70% effaced(sp?). Doc felt Ben's head down. So it looks like my body is prepping itself... But I haven't noticed any plug loss yet (thought that went with effacement)
So that brings up a question that's a little TMI so beware.....
I am rather naturalish down there... Had I known they were doing an internal I would have "prepped" but it's so darn difficult to reach down there I've neglected routine care... Am I the only one who finds it a pain still? And to further confess with ds in the last few weeks of preg. I had DH help me.. Do you guys forgo this or am I just a slacker?
