Anyone else dealing with insomnia?

Seems like the past week or so I've not been able to fall asleep. That or I wake up in the middle of the night to either pee or change positions for the millionth time and I'm unable to fall back asleep. Grrrr. This sucks! And I know tomorrow around 10 o'clock I'm going to be draaaaaaaaaaaaaaging.

Any advice on how to stop this? I'm not a warm milk kind of gal but I guess I could pick up some tea or something.

If i cant sleep its b/c I'm too hot, so I end up getting a drink and cranking the fan. lol. Oh and freezing poor DH

I hope you get some rest tonight!!! Try some meditations to slow your thoughts if your mind is racing... or try propping yourself in a different position if you cant get comfy?

Same boat. I can't sleep. Ill wake up to go potty or because my hands are numb. Then it takes forever to fall asleep.

Meeee. I will go to bed with DH at about 9-930, but always end up getting up and staying up late because I just lay in bed uncomfortable and unable to sleep. Then I wake up a million times a night because my hips hurt or I need to pee and can't go back to sleep. Grrr.
Since I'm full term, I bought some Sleepy Time Tea and that helps. When I'm really feeling crappy and know I need to sleep, I take a children's dose of Benadryl.

Agh. I'm in the same boat. I'm exhausted all day. Then I still stay up until 10 or 11 to "get things done" since it's hard to get anything accomplished with a toddler. Then when I finally do go to bed it takes me at least an hour to fall asleep. And then DH will start snoring, or I'll wake up uncomfortable or need to pee, or my DD will be talking in her sleep and I can hear her and wake up, and then it takes another good hour for me to fall asleep again. And then of course, DD gets up at 6 so it's not like I can sleep in, lol. And I will try to nap with her, but usually don't start falling asleep until she's starting to wake up. This is far more exhausting than the newborn stage and lack of sleep. Seriously.

Yeah… hate it… I think I just get to “awake” when I have to roll to the other hip (BECAUSE IT KILLS NOW TO SLEEP ON MY SIDES!) to sleep or get up and pee at least every other hour. Then my mind starts thinking of different stuff and then I can’t fall asleep. I really just try to keep my eyes closed and think of sleep rather then the days events or stuff that needs to be done. It doesn’t always work. not to much longer right? I must get some sleep because I’m still functioning, but it sure doest feel like it. A yoga instructor once said to picture a garbage can next to you and then picture yourself physically removing all thoughts and problems and putting them in it to “clear” your head, if you have the same issue as me. Wish we could have nap time at work.

I think we are all at this point, I have never had such a hard time sleepingin my life.

I to am up to pee and switch sleeping sides every 1 1/2 to 2 hours. it hurts to get out of bed everytime to and make my way down the stairs to the potty and hope i don't pee my pants.

my advice is to try not to turn any lights on, stay in the dark seems to help.
