Bottles...

Oh my I've tried EVERY bottle known to man, various temps, different people, places...blah blah blah you name it! She REFUSES to take a bottle or paci?! I have HUGE plans for Black Friday she HAS to get this!!!! UGH.. I'm at a loss here...I know I've posted on this before but I've NEVER had one of my kids flat out refuse to take a bottle...they didn't like it but would take it...not her. Sad

My son wouldn't either. It took him getting REALLY hungry to take it. All I know to say is keep trying. You've tried with freshly pumped milk that hasn't sat in the freezer?

Is it you trying the bottles or someone else?
Some babies won't take a bottle from mom, they want the real thing Wink , but they'll take one from someone else. DD2 and DS1 would not take a bottle or pacifier. Not any different kind, no matter how hungry they were, no matter who was giving it, nada! They just would not. Last year I went out for black friday but had to some home by 8am because DS1 would not stop screaming for me...and he was 2 weeks away from a year old! Lol I'm hoping to go this year too, we'll see!

Sorry! :bigarmhug:

My little sister would never take a bottle. The pedi even told my mom that if she got hungry enough she would. Well, my mom went back to work, and my sister was in daycare for almost 10 hours. She went a whole week not eating even an ounce during those 10 hours. She would not succumb to the bottle for anything. After that my mom would come on her lunch break to feed her, but she was still going 5 hours without eating...I hope you don't get to that.

My sister would not take from my mom but would from others.

When Lily and I were having a hard time in the beginning I was told to put it in a little cup and feed it to her or to put in a syringe and that worked for us.

I hope that things get better!
