Is anyone having the same problem? I lost all my pregnancy weight and then a few pounds. My maternity clothes fall right off of me. But my pre-pregnancy clothes don't fit.

I'm bummed that I have to get a bigger size. But my maternity jeans and shorts fall off!

Yep, same here. I know your hips and stuff shift during pregnancy and can take a few months to go back. This second pregnancy has def. made things not bounce back as quick as the first!

Unfortunately I'm not having that problem this time, for the first time I have not lost even close to all my pregnancy weight. As of my postpartum appointment I still have 20lbs to go, so definitely not close to fitting in my old clothes...yet somehow my 'fat pants' are practically falling off, and I'm at the heaviest now that I've ever been when not pregnant. I don't get it.
I will say that with my other kids I went back to my prepregnancy weight and even under with my first two and a lot of my pre-kids clothes never did quite fit again. My hips were wider after kids and shirts I had before didn't quite fit right. I think that's pretty normal.

I've lost all my preggo weight plus 3 lbs but.....my pre jeans dont fit and im still wearing my maternity pants. they are the over the belly ones so they fit. i noticed a big difference in my hips, they are much bigger now, my belly looks like i used too, just with stretch marks Sad

Count me in! And I'm over 10 lbs less than my pre-preg weight.

I'm 15-18 lbs over pre-pregnancy weight. My pre-pregnancy clothes fit, but I look all jiggly above the pants and it's not a squeeze to get into them. But, my maternity pants keep slipping down.

Need to go to Ross and get some smaller maternity or something. I'm not ready to buy more than one pair of pants cause I'm going to the gym now and expect to get Enough into shape by Christmas to use my gift money for hot momma clothes. Smile

I am about 5 lbs from pre-pregnancy weight but my pants don't seem like they will ever fit again in the hip area...o'well, I guess.

I'm there with you!

My hips NEVER went back to pre pg size after DS1, those pants were gone. I dont expect to get into my pre-preg clothes this soon. I went and bought one pair of nice jeans in a new bigger size and a belt. I'm in between a 10 and a 12 - the 10s are too tight and the 12s are loose. lol... time to lose the bulge! Anyway that was my solution for the short term. I'm hoping to get back into my size 10s eventually since it seems to be my belly that is too big this time around and not my hips.

I still have a good 20 lbs to go to lose the weight... sigh. I'm not much of a workout person, never have been. This will be hard. lol

I'm in between sizes as well. The smaller size is just tight enough to to push all my blubber up into my lower ribs and make my look gross, and the next size up is too big and won't stay all the way up.

Janelle, I got one of these for that problem- http://www.walmart.com/ip/Sweet-Nothings-Easy-Up-Shapewear-Waistnipper-Style-82368/17109082 I actually got mine from Target and it's a different brand but it looks similar. It smooths my midsection out when I'm wearing my tighter pants Smile

Thanks for the suggestion. Sadly, those don't work for me. They just roll down. Sad

This time I fit into my pre-prego clothes fine, but they don't necessarily look right. Definitely have the flabby muffin top going on. Ugh.
