This is why I love my moby wrap! She's being held and I can still do stuff. I'm trying to take advantage of the fact that she likes to be held and snuggling on the couch as often as I can.

I hold Lio most of the day. Dh holds him a lot too while he's sleeping. But he's content on his own, so I put him down some. Dd would freak if you ever put her down so I litterally held het 24/7. So even putting Lio down for 5 mins makes me feel guilty since I would never have done that with Halloway.

Yes! And its driving me nuts bc my house is a mess and I haven't cooked a proper meal in forever. Now that I'm kinda feeling less sore, I can do a little bit here n there as long as I'm not lifting anything heavy. I'm thinking about a moby wrap. Hmmm maybe ill start a wrap help thread.....

Yes! So does my husband, my daughter and the ladies at the childcare center. I think the only time she is not being held is when she is sleeping or in her carseat. I even go to the center on my lunch break just to hold her.

I hold him a lot b/c he's nursed but other than that, I really make an honest effort to lay him down while he's asleep. My house is a wreck, we have no clean clothes as of today, and I haven't cooked in forever. It's really getting difficult to manage. Beee He screams if you put him down, too. It's like luck, sometimes he'll sleep when I lay him down but most the time, he wakes up screaming or, like just now, the kids wake him up being loud.

He's still pretty new but so far he's definitely been held most of the day, he sleeps in his crib at night though. He's my last baby though and I just love snuggling newborns Smile My dh had off all week and has been cleaning and cooking, so that's been great, I do have a moby...haven't used it with Isaiah yet but I'm sure when dh goes back to work I will bring it out. He really doesn't cry when he's not held so far though so maybe not. We just don't have anywhere 'safe' to put him down except his crib right now. DS1 thinks the bouncy seat is his and we haven't set up the swing (and won't unless I really feel like we need it, it takes up too much room and I think DS1 would try to pick baby up from that too)

He has been held a lot. Since I was in ther hospital the second time I've had a lot of family over helping me so I can rest and recover. So he has had lots of hands to hold him, and I hold him lots too. At night he sleeps in his crib between feedings, although I do rock/hold him to sleep.
Like kilah said, I never put my first down, so I feel bad putting this LO down too long. I have a moby I wear when I'm out alone. If I'm out with DH or my mom or someone then he is in the car seat or one of our arms lol.
He is down in his bassinet right now while I'm typing. Lol. And he does get put down when he's asleep, or when I'm doing something with ds1. He's actually ok to sit in the bassinet and look around. But once he fusses I pick him up.

I'm sorry Becca, I'll try to come over kid free two times a week to hold him so that you can get some things done. Sad
