Favorite baby item

So far what is your favorite baby item?
Mine is very much my Ergo carrier. Love it, been using it a ton lately. We went on a road trip this past weekend and I didn't want to waste room in the car with the stroller. So I brought the Ergo to use instead and it was great. We went to the aquarium and Calvin slept the whole time, then when he did wake up I was able to get him situated and nurse him in it. whats funny is when we got to the car dh asked if I wanted to feed him before we left, I laughed, he didn't even notice.

My RocknPlay sleeper. Which is funny because I didn't even register for it. My mom saw it and thought it'd be good to have!

I have no magic item yet but we are trying everything so I know we will find one soon!!

Lisa, I was looking at the Ergo...it looks so cumbersome. Do you find that not to be the case?

SLEEP SAcks! ohhh man... with it I don't worry about Ben being cold and I swear he's so snugly he sleeps WAY more at night then before we started using them. I don't fuss with trapping down blankets for fear of SIDS and its not at all hard to change him because he can stay a little warmer then if I had to take the blanket off, I'll just unzipper it a little. With Will I thought they looked silly and never used them, but I LOVE them now. Smile

So far i still love my preggo pillow. i use it now to help me feed her. The head part sits on my lap and the sides cross behind my back to give me much needed support. I feed her alot in my bed so this is a big deal LOL

How do you find using the Ergo with a newborn? Do you have the insert?

I'm looking to buy an Ergo.

No real magic item here. Most of the stuff I like but not necessarily love.

I use both my Moby and my Beco (similar to an Ergo) a lot.

The swaddleme swaddle blankets! I do love the aden and anais blankets too but he's a wiggler and can wiggle out of even the best swaddle in those which he doesn't seem to do with the swaddleme blankets and he sleeps SO much better swaddled. I really love the moby too, I go for a walk everyday that isn't raining with the boys with my older son in the stroller and Isaiah in the moby. The bouncer is great too, somewhere to put him down when I need to, especially for cleaning and showers. He hates it when it vibrates so I'll even get to save on batteries Wink
I keep trying the nuk but so far he isn't having it

Its not, its easy to use and adjust and he fits great in it.

I have the infant insert and used that quite a bit. It worked good to keep him positioned and all snug. But it was so big and bulky. I finally put him in it without it, just positioned his legs kind of froggy style, not quite under him and he fits great. Much better now, doesn't feel so bulky and hes so light in it I don't even feel the straps.

Id say its a toss up btwn the paci and my moby. She hates the Carseat so the stroller hasn't been used and the paci has saved our bfing relationship bc my nips finally don't kill me!

I love the sleep sacks sooo much, I haven't swaddled Lilly since the 2nd night she was home, she absolutely hated to be swaddled, she usually sleeps with her arms and legs stretched out.
Oh and the Paci, since she comfort sucks way too much, if i didn't have them she would literary be attached to me boob 24/7
