Food

So what are your munchkins eating these days?

Eve's eating everything. though she still really likes to get those packets of veggies&fruit. so she eats dinner and then has one of those... or not. last night she had salsibury steak and a few bites of mashed potatoes and a packet of carrots & peas. Smile
she'll eat or try to anything she gets her hands on. she's really funny about it. i'd say her favorite thing is extra sharp cheddar cheese and bananas.

Evie is super NOT picky and LOVES to eat anything anyone else is eating. Problem is.. she's (unconfirmed) allergic to dairy and the last few times she's had strawberries or blackberries (both grow in our back yard), she's had instant acidic diarrhea with an open sores rash that lasts for around a week!

So.. she basically eats vegetables and rice. Lol

Does she not like meat? Eve eats chicken, pork, beef, fish.
i'm sorry about Evelyn's allergy, unconfirmed or not not something to play with. Strawberries are in so much stuff too. i had a short lived allergy to them starting in college till i got pregnant with Ethan and then it went away (weird i know).

We are mostly vegan. It's easier to combat food allergies like dairy when you go vegan. We have meat about once a week, but other than a little bit of fish, or very soft chicken, I'm paranoid she'll choke. We are mostly off purees and only give her jarred food when we are having something she can't (or won't) have like spicy sweet potato fries.

She does like eggs, though. We have egg salad once a week and scrambled or hard boiled once or twice a week.

We give her soy milk in a sippy once a day and she nurses 3 to 4 times a day still. So, I'm totally not worried about a lack of protein.

Maya eats pretty much anything we are having. She out eats my 4 year old son. She loves pasta, cheese and vegetables.
