H/B & Movement-Update

Thank you all for your thoughts. I called the dr and she had me go straight to L&D. They monitored baby for awhile and he was moving well and had a steady heart rate. I wasn't feeling some of his movements so that could explain why I thought he hadn't been as active. It was great to get a little reassurance!

Ladies:

For the past two days I've noticed my LO not being as active so I checked the h/b with my doppler this morning and heard the weirdest thing...it was like the heartbeat was beating fast and then it would slow way down. I don't know if I was cathing mine in there as well as it didn't sound like it was cutting out; it clearly sounded like the same h/b but with some pretty good fluctuations.

Is this normal? I've felt some movement today but nothing as strong as I have been feeling.

if your concerned call your OB. it can't hurt to ask. maybe baby is just going through a more sleepy phase gearing up for the next big growht spurt?

When I use my doppler I go from hearing Lizzie's to hearing my own. But her's also seems so be fast and then slow down. Personally, I would just keep checking it. If you get too worried call the doctor, that's what they are there for. (At least that's what mine tells me).

My placenta is in the front so I can't feel her kicking - it stinks!!

It is too hard to tell. It could be normal, it might not be. If I had any concern, I would call the dr.

my LO has been quite today.... I've been noticing some days she's just more still than others but it freaks me out all the same! lol Maybe try laying down somewhere quite after drinking some juice, and snack see if you can get some movement and take a listen...but I agree with pp if ever in doubt call the doc!

I'm Getting use to my Lil Lady being still ( far different than my boys)
If I feel she been still too long

I drink Cold juice Turn on the music ( she loves music) and eat.. She perks Right up

If she didn't do that when I do all that .. Then I would be Concerned But that does the Trick

I agree, if you're concerned about it then I'd call the doctor. Like PP, I have days where he's not as active. Like PP too, drink some juice and lay down to see how she does.

My LO did the same thing just last week. for about 2 days, i hardly felt her at all. I was getting ready to call my OB the next day, when she came back stronger than ever!! I feel her more often through the day, and even stronger! When i lay on my back i can see my stomach jump when she kicks! So its probably like a PP said...just a sleepy phase before a growth spurt! But of course call your OB if your truly worried!

Hope this helps!
