I think I figured out Evie's sleep issue! (XP)

So last night it occurred to me.. she sleeps better when the outside temperature is warmer. But this doesn't make sense cause I have a heater in her room and I keep it a nice temperature in there, and I adjust it as necessary for when it's cold enough for the house heater to be kicking on at night. And THERE'S the key. Just about every time I got up with her last night, the house heater was on. I think the heater kicking on is waking her up.

I'm gonna buy a radio today while I'm out and about and see if it helps tonight.

Got it yesterday and set it up last night. I think it helped. She gave me a 4 hour stretch in the middle of the night. But she was also very gassy. I am hoping it helps tonight, too. Smile

I hope that works! 4 hours is like heaven when you're used to getting less, isn't it?
We all have small fans in our rooms and it seems to help the kids sleep. It definitely helps Camdyn at nap time.

I have an app on my phone that does white noise but that makes life hard as I cannot get any calls made after Lily goes to bed. How is the white noise option? I am interested in getting one if it works.

Well, it has LOTS of sounds that it makes. It makes the white noise, or "snow" as I called it as a kid, it's the noise that the radio or tv makes when it's on a blank channel.. kida fuzz ish. It also has several different nature sounds. The one that is working best for us is a stream with some birds tweeting. I keep it on all night for her and it's actually working. She's starting to get a consistent schedule going. Last night I got up 3 times, between 9pm and 5:30 am (5:30 being the 3rd time) when I brought her to bed with me. I came down with a bad head cold yesterday and at 5:30 am she was too awake to just lay her back down, so I brought her to bed and nursed her there and she fell back asleep after a bit. So that's about a 4 hour average.
