I tried holding off asking this BUT ......Sorry If TMI

I just have
to know..

Ok since I was 26wks
I been having this aching pain right between my legs
It feels as though i pushed a baby Out already Every thing down there is SORE
I walk like a old lady & Dh said I move Like a turtle.
I mean I don't expect this to happen till like 34+wks .. But
My goodness this is so not right.
When I walk It feel like This girl is right between my lady parts
My pelvic & hip bones feel like they have shifted and wont Shift back.

Ok am i the only one Or am I just Special.
Btw .. I'm so scared of the pain that I will go through pushing this girl out , if I'm feel like this every single day .
The more I move the more It hurts.

Could be that you're just carrying really low. I'd just ask the doctor the next time you go.

I understand your fear of labor and pushing the baby out. I've never pushed a baby out so I can't really relate but I know there are other women on here who have done it naturally. Are you going natural?

I would definitely talk to your doc too.

Yes my "lady parts" are swollen sometimes, and I get pressure sometimes down there, but nothing really painful. When I was pg with DS, I could literally feel my hips being pushed apart as I got further into 3rd tri! Im not looking forward to that again!

I've heard that your muscles get "looser" with each kid - and since this is your 4th that could be part of it. I know someone who has 4 kids and with her final baby she almost had a dislocated hip, her joints and pelvic area were so loose from all the hormones and stretching. So you should definitely talk to your doc, just make sure everything is ok.

That's totally how I felt with my DD for pretty much the entire third trimester. She was SO low. The doctor could feel her head during every internal exam. And you know what, when I went into labor at 38w3d, I went from 3 to 10 in about an hour and didn't have to push...she came flying out all on her own with a contraction.

I would get checked just to make sure you're not dilating or anything. You're probably fine, but it might give you some peace of mind.

I ditto everyone else. I carried my first VERY low and distinctly remember her 'dropping' at about 28 weeks at which point walking was painful.
I also agree it could be a 4th baby kind of thing, I'm quite a few weeks behind you but I've already noticed how swollen things are down there :-? DTD is uncomfortable at this point due to that but so far not too much pain (but this could also be because my baby is around 1lb and yours is closer to 3lbs, this part of pregnancy is huge for baby growing)

Totally agree with all that's been said. It's your 4th baby, she sounds like she's low, and you're prolly going to have a faster labor and delivery b/c of it. Smile The only thing my MW said about me carrying mine so low and having the VV b/c of it is that I prolly shouldn't deliver squatting.

I think like everyone else said, talk to your dr. I know I am carrying low and lately it feels like baby has been pushing on my cervix, it is so very uncomfortable.

Same here. At my last appt my dr said at least one, maybe two heads are way down in my pelvic bones. And I get swelling off and on "down there" that doesn't help either. For me, once I stand I have to take a second before I start walking. Then there are those days it just never gets better and walking stinks. The worst for me is that it is painful to roll over at night - switching my legs from the right to the left my whole pelvic area can ache.

Sorry you are having this too. Hang in there!

I sure hope my labor with her is fast and to the point.. I already had a Talk with her. Stateting We are going to keep it Simple and not try any new tricks. She Kicked on it so let see if she Obey ROFL I know I sound to Silly saying that. But I'm so serious thats what I told her.

My 1st was 30hrs
My 2nd was 13 hrs
My 3rd was 7 hours
So i pray to God She is About 3/4 Hours I'll take that Smile

but yes It feel As if every part of my pelvic are is outta place right now..
I'm Sure what all you ladies said is true. I just had to make sure cause I never felt this with my boys till bout 34/35 wks. They were higher and My Mw says She is Low that was like 18wks Though.

I am not carrying this one low, but I have what you are talking about. However, mine is helped by walking around. When I go to stand up after sitting a while, it throbs. Part of it is a nerve in my back that radiates from my sacrum around in my pelvis and down into my groin. Ouch.
The other part is just the normal pressure from the baby. Since we've had a few babies already we don't have the same support (muscles, ligaments) to keep that weight from putting pressure on all our veins, nerves, etc.
Hope it gets better for you Sad

I agree with pp that you should speak with your doc. Maybe it is because she is sitting low. I can identify with walking slow. Today I was out running errands and it felt as if my LO was going to drop out at anytime. I had a horrible pain in my hip and it felt as if she was pressing down on my cervix. Hopefully the doc can give you a few pointers on how to relieve the pain and the swelling goes away.

I've noticed that at night time when I get up to go to the bathroom and sit down on the toilet I feel like things down there are suddenly SWOLLEN beyond belief... And I also second the rolling over in bed/ hips aching...I've noticed it's getting harder to roll, get up off the couch/floor or just move in general! lol My dh calls me grandma because I waddle along so slow. I come from a family of 10 kids and all of my aunts on my mom's side have 6+ kids each. They all have issues related to having so many kids (prolapse, NO muscle tone at all in their abs, hernias, etc). I know many women do it, but it's hard to imagine. My mom basically could barely walk at the end of the pregnancy with my youngest brother. I know much of it can be helped somewhat by staying in shape, but when you're pregnant and have more other LOs, that's really hard to do.
Have you thought of going to a chiropractor or getting a pregnancy massage? I've been told both can really help(with pain and swelling). DH (is a DO) and he worked on my back tonight and it feels so much better.
