OT: Help me do some shopping

My BFF turns 30 on 8/1 and I'd like to get her something special. She's an amazing friend. When I passed a kidney stone a few months ago, she dropped everything and drove 3 hours to take care of Daphne so that I could rest. She's always been like that. We've been best friends since we were 8.

Anyway, she's a jewelry person and she works in school administration, so she has the opportunity to wear nice things. I never wear jewelry and don't know where to start looking. I'd rather not trek around in this crazy heat to shop - I'd prefer to find something online. My budget is $100. I'm thinking a piece of jewelry would be nice, but I'm open to other meaningful suggestions.

Any shoppers out there have ideas for me? She's single and doesn't have kids, so the mom necklace things that you see on Red Envelope and the like are out. Also, she's a coach, so really long dangly earrings probably aren't very good either.

Thanks!

Oh, their stuff is very unique and pretty, Lisa.
Hmmm. I don't shop for jewelry much either, so I am no help. DH has bought me some things from Silpada and I wear it constantly. Their stuff is very elegant but can be pricey. I'm pretty sure you can find something for under $100. There are several Silpada dealers on eBay.
Good luck and have fun looking!
