Pain down south/dropping

I've noticed yesterday and today pain down south mainly when I stand and walk. I don't really feel it when sitting. It's not in my woohoo but more like right around my pubic hair, closer to my clitoris. Is this the baby dropping? I can't remember if I had this pain with ds or not. I have u/s a week from today so I guess we'll see then.

The baby's probably dropped. Daphne was really low in my pelvis for the last two months or so and it was really uncomfortable. It was like I could feel my pubic bone separating in preparation for birth.

Wow, for us 1st timers you make this sound fun!! Smile At least we will be prepared when we feel that one. Eesh, what pregnancy does to us but it is good to know that you don't recall if it happened before.

I've had baby A's butt or head in my pelvis for at least a month now. There are times I get up and have to stand a second or two before I can start walking. And other times I literally limp along because it's so painful, and if my bladder is full - omg I can't do anything but get to the bathroom. It is a huge difference if/when she moves up out of that cradle, it literally feels like I can walk around all day no problem. Of course, I still can't - but to feel good down there... wow!

It's the worst for me at night, rolling over feels like my pelvic area is truly ripping apart. Good luck, hang in there!

Yeah, it feels just like that! This didn't happen with DS till right towards the very end. Is this a sign that things will happen earlier?

ETA: I was reading about how soon the baby should drop and everything I read said that 2nd babies usually don't drop till right before birth. Is this true? It literally feels like he is sitting on my pubic symphosis.

I can imagine with 3 in there! Yeah, I'm totally limping/waddling along with this pain.

Im not having any pain, but baby has definitely dropped. I woke up one day last week thinking that, and then thought I was imagining it. Since then I have had a number of people comment that baby has dropped noticeably. One of my coworkers joked I wont make it til the end of school (which is a week and a half away lol) and I said I sure hope i do!!! lol.
But yes, baby could have dropped for you too.
The only discomfort I have had since then is feeling like something is digging into my hips. I'm sure its a hand or an elbow or something wedged in there. Sometimes when I'm walking its really uncomfortable, but not painful.

A friend and I were actually discussing this the other day and I don't believe this is true. I didn't really drop with either of my first two until well into labor and this baby I have and I don't for-see myself going into labor anytime in the next three weeks. *knock on wood*.

But I've had this feeling for quite sometime now, I think his head is on my cervix.
