So small

Calvins 2 month check was yesterday, got few shots, no bad reactions to those. He is doing good for the most part, really good with motor skills. She wanted to see what he does on his tummy, which he loves tummy time, so he showed off for her. Lifted his head up a bit, then I said you can do better than that Calvin. So he pushed himself right up, chest up and everything and stayed like that for quite a while. Dr was impressed, she told him you don't have to be doing that till 4 months! Strong just like his sister was, I think more though. He's about 24 inches long now and 10.5 pounds, which is a whole pound less than dd at the same age. I know hes healthy, eating well and all that so I am not worried, hes just small. I'm thinking we will probably have a growth spurt soon and he will catch up...and grow out of all of his clothes Smile

Congrats on a great appointment! It's crazy to think he's 2 months already! Sounds like he will be rolling over soon!

He's been doing that since 3 or 4 days. dd did at 3 days too. My kids are weird like that. I am afraid of how soon he will be crawling and walking, hes so determined

I'm so glad his appointment went well. I wish Alex would quit growing so darn fast, I have said since the day he was born that I want to keep him a newborn for a little longer b/c he's my last. Sad

It sounds like he's growing great. I don't think he sounds small (if I remember right, he was around 8lbs at birth?). Such a handsome man!
My kids are strong like that too. The older two both walked at 10 months.
