Solid food refusal?

So Ben has been eating solids for about two months now. Last week we all had the stomach flu, so im not sure if it has anything to do with that, but Ben is refusing to open his mouth for solid foods. Even the stuff he loved like carrots & oatmeal. Could it be teething thing? He's nursing/bottle feeding just fine. He's sleeping just fine... he's in a good mood. He has a residual RSV cough but thats about it other then the solid refusal. Sad Ideas? oh and it doesn't matter what time of day. He was getting oatmeal in the mornings, veggie for lunch, fruit for dinner while the rest of us eat. Could it just be he's not ready after two good months?

At this age, since solids are simply for practice, not nutrition, it's definitely possible that he just doesn't want it. I wouldn't worry about it and just re-introduce them if he seems interested. Nothing wrong with him not eating solids at this point.
Hope you are all feeling better!
ETA: He also could still feel yucky from being sick. My kids are just now starting to eat again since they had an upper respiratory virus weeks ago and they are older.

I'll ditto that one. Kids go weeks or longer after being seriously ill not wanting what they were doing before being sick.
he'll get back to it when he's ready, promise!

I think i've got a picky eater on my hands.... he will eat fruit, but no veggies. So we have to kinda slip a few bites in while he's distracted. We also have another eating issue. I ran out of pumped BM for while Im away at work. I bought some formula to use untill I had more for him. He won't eat it.... he'll just cry and push out the bottle. Sad I hope either my supply builds up or he gets used to it.
