Still without a name?

Anyone else still struggling to come up with a name for their LO? We had a hard time naming DD, too. We have our boys name, that was easy, but girls names are just too hard. We'd been pretty set on one name since we found out I was pregnant, but now we're both having second thoughts. And I just know this baby is going to be a girl, ha ha. I'm so impressed with those of you who named your LO a long time ago and haven't wandered away from the name!

I told DH that I will not pick a name until I meet her so that I know that it suits her. I know that this is crazy but I think that you know when you see them. That being said...we have a list with about 10 names that are in the running and none seem perfect, I hope that meeting her will change that.

We never pick the end name before going to the hospital. Usually we've got 3 sets of girl names and 3 sets of boy names to choose from. This time my DH says we're not narrowing down our list of 20+ girl names and the boy names are about 8 so that's what we're doing. soooo.....baby could stay unnamed for awhile. Biggrin

we have a few in mind, but nothing set for sure. It took 3 days to name ds, I've gotta see them first to name them.

We have had our names for about a month, but it was stressful enough coming up with three. The boy name we have had for a while and the two girl names we eventually went back to what we initially said we liked best. I will say we have not determined who is who for the girls and we won't until DH sees them. Since he will see them first and the most at first he gets to choose who is who - and it's kinda special that he gets to do that. I don't envy you having to figure out the name thing though. GL!!

We're not settled on a name either. It took us awhile to name DD and we even changed it once. Smile I need to lay my eyes on him before making a decision.

We've got a few that we're still tossing around. I had three names picked out with DD when we went to the hospital, but didn't end up naming her either one of those. The only two that I've mentioned that DH hasn't vetoed (Harper and Camdyn) are growing on me, but I'm not completely set on either. So you're not alone!

We don't have any names yet either. We had a hard time agreeing with DD1 and this time is seeming to be the same way. I'm hoping that we can have something fairly definite in the next few weeks but it is so hard.

Not technically due in August so I'm not as far along but there's no way this little guy will be named before birth. We have completely different tastes for boy names and DS1 was hard enough, we named him after he was born (a few hours)...at least with him we had a short list, we don't even have that this time. Part of me feels like maybe I should give in this time and let him name the baby since we've always went with my choice with the other kids (well, my choice that he agreed with)...but I guess I have control issues Lol

one of the boys names is growing on me, but I am not entirely sure. I think we will know when we meet our baby.

Its ok if you dont have a name yet! And if you go into labor not having one! Often seeing baby helps.

We do have a name, and its set. (unless I drastically feel different when hes born, which isnt too likely).

With DS we had picked the name, but seeing him really made it more "real" KWIM? He suited the name from the start. Maybe its b/c we had decided on it... but anyway he DEFINITELY wasnt our backup name. lol.

I was going to say something similar to this.
