Just wondering... mine has yet to make an appearance...its a little weird to me.
Nope, not unusual for me though. I got pregnant with Isaiah before getting a period back after my older son, who was almost !# months old when I got my bfp. My period came back at !^ months with my second daughter (I was pumping for my oldest so I got it back a lot sooner)....something is up with my keyboard it should say my son was thirteen months when I got pregnant and my daughter was sixteen months when I got af back. Anyways I don't expect to get it back until he's at least close to a year old.
No but I'm on the mini pill. I didn't get mine back with DD1 until I changed from the mini pill at 14 months.
nope, and yeah it is kind of weird, I am glad not to have it, and i dont miss buying tampons and suff.
DS#1 I was bfing and formula feeding and AF didn't return until he was done with Bfing at 8 months.
DS#2 I was bfing full time (4 times a day and 5 times at night) and on the full sized pill and got AF mid pill pack when he was 8 months old.
With Evie I had 18 days of light bleeding back in December but it was 2 weeks after I got my first depo shot and I blamed it on that. I got my second shot 4-5 weeks ago and didn't have any bleeding this time. I am expecting AF (at the very least) to return again when she's 8 months. Sometime around the end of April to mid May.
With Ethan i stopped BFing/pumping at 6 months and AF came about 3 weeks later.
Isaac i BF/pumped till 9 months and it came again 3 weeks later.
So i'm expecting that when i quit BFing that it will come about 3 weeks later.
Its nice not to have the witch though its funny to look back and go...gee i haven't had a period since Nov 2010!!
Lucky ladies! I got mine back at 8 weeks pp. With my DD I got is back a 3 mos pp. And I'm stil BFing her, so yeah. AF just loves me!
Nope, not back. I have months where I feel like it is coming on and then nothing comes of it and the cramping/achiness goes away... I am totally ok with it though, lol. Don't miss it-- unless I want to have a baby.
I am going on month 16 of no AF... YAHOO!
I don't have af yet, but I want a baby!!!!!!!!!! We DTD on a day when I had some questionable mucus stuff.. and a day later very slight spotting.. cross your fingers... hummm I wonder... I know its hard to get preggers though while BFing.... I wont give that up.
Are you temping? And checking your CM? even with BFing you still should see a change and it might give you a good clue. but yeah it is harder to get preggers.
My Mom had my brother and i 14 months apart. she said it was like having twins and everything lasted twice as long or triple cause one of us would revert to be like the other! so GOOD LUCK!
I must have jinxed myself... cauz here AF came in all her glory! BOOOOO... so I have a cold and cramps just in time for the weekend... but hey... it will make it easier to tell when Im ovulating!
I got mine back at 9mPP this time (BFing on demand, no formula ever). It actually seemed late to me because AF showed at 7.5m PP with the others.
Jessica - Good luck TTC while BFing and waiting for AF! I did that after DS1 (TTC from 6mPP but, thanks to BFing, had a LP defect until 11mPP) It can be really frustrating. I hope things move along quickly for you.
Haven't seen mine yet (not that I'm complaining!). I just stopped the mini-pill last month when I weaned and am on a low-dose combo pill right now. Odds are it'll show up in some form at the end of this pack (bummer!).
Mine came back around 5 months even though she was still EBF. The cycle was longer for the first couple of months, but now I'm right back on schedule
nothing here - some months when i would normally get my period, i feel crampy and i think this is the month it'll come...but nothing does....soo..i plan on BF until 1 yr, then we'll see what happens...
I just got mine last week, 1 day before the twins turned 8 months. : (
I'm feeling quite menstrual today.. yesterday hot flashes ans exhaustion. Today, cold sore and bloated/crampy... I expected her to arrive sometime in the 8th month.. if I start bleeding, I will have been correct. Evie is 8 months old today.
