Default Lack of pooping sorry TMI

I'm really starting to worry about my little ones lack of reg BM's or pooping. She is going on avg lately every 3-4, but by the 3rd day she really seems uncomfortable to the point of being unable to rest, sleep and then will start to wine and cry. I have heard from some of the mommy's of term babies that their doctors said to use a small amount of juice. But with preemies everything is a little different. I'm starting to think it's the extra liquid vitamins I have to give her along with the Neosure that has extra Iron. I want to try something natural like juice but have any of yall went through this? Thank you in advance

My DD3 (32weeks) is chronically constipated. I would talk to your doctor about the underlying cause of the constipation, but we gave prune juice when she was little. It is better than giving a laxative. It is not good for their little tummies to not go regularly, so I would for sure get it checked out.

Yeah I'm going to talk it over with her NICU doctor and ped doctor as well. She has back to back apts on the 26 and 27 of this month. I hate to see her looking so upset and uncomfortable. Thank you

You're still several months away, but as soon as she can sit up in an exercauser, that will work wonders. Is she just on neosure or breast too? I would also question the extra vitamins.
