This is indeed a challenge!! I would suggest watching the newer Birth Boards... if you see a Mama who may be/did deliver early I would drop a friendly note to her on the board! A respectful reply, and then you can invite her over!!

I would LOVE to see more of ALL of us cross posting on other boards, like it used to be! Makes for a more "community" feeling, I think!

This is a good idea You can also start a thread on the host board asking for permission to "spam" other boards about this board to try to draw some attention to it.

I used to post occasionally here... but my "preemie" is now 10.5 so it's been ages since I dealt with any issues... and even then, despite being 31 weeks/less than 3 lbs, she was mainly just a "grower" so we never really dealt with any MAJOR issues.

I did post on the very newest birth boards asking if anyone had a preemie. I was unaware that I needed to ask first. Sorry

It does not matter that your Preemie is older! You still went through it and survived. When Caitlyn was a new born it was a huge encouragement to talk to people who had made it through the experience. To see pictures and hear stories of babies that were once itty bitty and are now healthy happy kids was a huge blessing.

We like hosts to ask just so the other hosts are aware and as a courtesy but don't worry... it's fine... nobody's been fired yet for spamming their board ... afterall, we WANT boards to be promoted If they didn't have hosts I would've told you to go ahead anyway LOL You can still ask the other hosts for the boards you didn't get to... they would likely know if there are members with preemies a little older than on the boards you already posted on... the ATB and Gaming boards would be good ones to ask the hosts about too since they draws people from all over the site
