My girls will be 27 months old tomorrow. Time sure goes by fast. I swear I didn't pay attention to these types of date with my DS. Most of the time, I want to throw big parties when we reach certain age milestones with the twinkles! It is amazing how having two babies at once makes you find reasons to celebrate the little things!
According to everything I have read, 27 months starts the optimal range for potty training. I am praying and hoping the girls will starting showing more consistent interest in the potty and having more bladder control. Right now, sitting on the potty is like play time. I know this is good. Kids learn through play. However, I just wish they would accidentally go so I can make a big deal out of it. As of right now, we have been pretty dry on the potty. So, it isn't all that interesting, kwim?
My DS stated potty training at 28 months. He initiated it and it was super easy. I have a feeling it won't be that easy ever again.![]()
LOL, right now I feel like there isn't enough wine the world to allow me to survive that long!
We had a potty that sang a song when DD1 used it. She loved to make it go off, because when she did, we all did our version of the potty dance. We left it in the living room, where we spend most of our time and one day she just pulled down her pull up and sat down and went. I hope its as easy with these guys. Potty training 2 seems so scary to me.
Yay! They are growing so fast, which means my boys are right behind your girls! I can't wait to be done with diapers, but won't push it, as I tried that with ds (didn't even start until he was over 3) and it took forever. But they do seem interested. They go pee on the potty about 1-2 times a week, and Abram has even pooped a few times! Yay!! Progress!
