8 Months Old

Well, my babies are 8 months today and I cant believe my daughter. She is crawling like a champ, eating everything under the sun, sitting up unassisted and just today starting pulling herself into a standing position while in the crib, using the rails. She actually tired to let go a couple of times, but wasnt able to hold herself up. Brad is a little lazier. He still uses rolling as his major means of mobilitiy. He can crawl but only does it if absolutely necessary. Usually he will just whine until I get whatever he is after for him. He can sit unassisted but will only stay in a sitting position if there is something to occupy him, if not, he just throws himself into a laying position. And he such a picky eater (which Im not used to because DD1 loves food as does Kaylee). I cant believe how polar opposites these two are. I know they are their own unique individuals, but I never thought they would be this different. They only thing they have in common is their happy demeanor.

I perdict Kaylee will be walking by 9 months...I am so very scared!

So fun! It is amazing to see how different two babies raised at the same time by the same parents can be. Smile I really hope Kaylee is not walking in another month! lol

Well, the good thing is that they will not be mobile at the same time for a little while yet. Biggrin That it how it worked with K and S. K crawled and walked first. So, Sarafina was not mobile at all when K was crawling. Then, S was crawling when K was learning to walk. It gave us a slight reprieve from two mobile toddlers. Now, those girls are on the move. Parks frighten me. Biggrin
