I was looking in the "Meet the Multiple Mommies Thread" and noticed that no one has written in it since March of this year. Could we do a roll call of all the wonderful ladies on this board for all the newbies here, including myself. We did this on Pregnant with Mulitples board and it was fun and handy! It will allow us newbies to get to know the wonderful and awesome ladies that are helping and will continue to help us through the wonderful world of Mulitples

Best part of having Multiples? The understanding you can get from other parents of multiples.
Worst part of having Multiples? This is a bad time to ask me that! My kids fight all the time, and drive each other insane. They do NOT play together like I was promised they would, but fight and annoy each other and force me to referee constantly.
Any advice? Talk to people who can understand what you are going through: your partner, people here, a local moms of multiples group, etc. I have found that to be the most helpful. I have a singleton now too, and I can tell you it is NOTHING like having twins.

Your Childrens Names and ages: Isaiah, 7--almost 8; Keira and Sarafina-2
How early did you deliver?: 37w, 2d
Best part of having Multiples? The fun they have together and how cute they are together.
Worst part of having Multiples? Tantrum throwing X 2
Any advice? Everyone is different, but I will say that for us getting them on a schedule and working hard on sleep training when they were old enough were the best things we did. I think teaching twins to sleep is really important. They have a built in playmate, so it makes it twice as hard sometimes. I am dreading the transition to toddler beds.
That is too bad.I have found that many MoMs have some great advice. For those that don't understand twins, I haven't had much useful advice, but that is only because they don't really get that parenting twins is a tad different than a singleton.
Ha! I cannot imagine that two kids the same age in toddlerhood and early preschool can ever play together well.I just pray for some good school age years of peace. One can hope, anyway.
You are right, a singleton is NOTHING like twins.![]()
