Default A few pics of my boys

I shared these pics on our (nearly dead) birthboard, so thought I would share here as well.

I found Wyatt on the table, but he was cleaning, hard to get mad at him. lol

This is when I LOVE having twins, when I see them being such good friends!

Abram talks up a storm, he speaks amazingly well and clear. I left overnight this weekend and dh had all four kids, first time ever leaving the twins. DH said Abram built a "spaceship" out of legos, and put a yellow brick and a blue brick and called them Capn Kirk and Bock. lol. He is a little mischief maker also, he really really enjoys making messes, dumping anything that can be dumped. etc.

Wyatt is starting to talk a bit more, and a bit more clearly as well. He is super cuddly, and seems to be mechanically inclined. He LOVES to play with blocks and builds very well with them (Abram gets mad a cries a lot), and he can build train tracks like no other. He enjoys throwing things off our back deck, toys, etc, but especially paper and watching it fly. Our yard looks super fancy these days. lol

I think 0-1 was so hard for me with twins, so exhausted ALL the time. 1-2 was doable, but holy cow, 2 is hard for me so far. They are both constantly making messes!

They are so super cute!!! I love those pictures. I think 2 is hard because the kids know they are their own individual now. Both girls are expressing their independence. I have been working on my patience a lot. Keira has started saying "Stop it!" a lot. It is because I say it to them. We try to give as many choices as possible to help ease the tantrums, but it has been a big challenge. As for messes, my girls aren't too bad. Maybe because they are girls? Although, Sarafina looked like a green-fingered monster after playing with Play-Doh the other day. She was poking her fingers in it to make holes.

They are SO adoreable, thanks for sharing. I actually worry that my babes wont be close when they are older because they are b/g. But atleast my messes will be smaller because I only have one boy to create them!

Krista, my friend has 5yr old b/g twins, and I think they are very good friends. I also have a good friend who had a twin brother. They were super close. She has never married and he was married and had three children, so she was super close with all of them. Sadly he passed away while I was pg with my twins, but mainly my point was, many b/g twins are very close.

I don't know if it is just boys that make messes. My older singles, one of each, made toy messes and such, but to make a mess just to make the mess... hardly ever, I can probably count on one hand when each of them have done that.

Anyone else have kiddos that won't eat broken cookies and such? This stage drives me CRAZY! lol

Yes! My girls cannot stand it if any of their food is broken. They try to put it back together and then they cry. AHHH!

My girls make messes, but not just to make them. They pull out toys and books all the time!

I'm sure my boys don't think it is messes just to make messes, but it sure seems that way to me. If there is a bin to dump out, it will be, a box of cereal dump, it will be, books to be unshelved, they will be, and they don't read them either, its just the fun of making the mess. But I am much better at making them clean up said messes, so eventually they will get the connection. lol

and yes... they cry and put it back together. I so remember my mom telling all her daycare kids, it tastes the same broken as together. lol. And I have tried convincing the boys it is fun to have two pieces, but no. lol

Well...Keira is a neat freak. If something is out of place, she has to fix it. If something is dirty, she has to clean it. So, she never dumps things just to dump them. Sarafina, on the other hand, will sometimes pull out books just to toss them around. That is not very often though.

I also try to tel them it is more fun to have two pieces or that it tastes the same. They don't believe me! Imagine that!
