    Default Hope this changes..

Last night was literally the worst night since they have been born. I have been absolutely amazed at how well the babies sleep (especially Brad). BUT...last night I was up literally every hours from 10pm till 6 am. First Brad woke up at 10 and then Kaylee at 11 and from there it continued that way. My only saving grace was that they were waking up seperately so I only had to deal with one baby. I have no idea what was going on. The only thing I can think is that they got their vaccinations on Mon and maybe this a lingering affect from their shots.

Did this ever happen to anyone elses babies?

Hugs! I hope they sleep better tonight for you! But yes, there were nights that they slept horribly, but none of my babies have really slept through the night consistently until about 2yrs.

I nursed my twins for 2years and 2 weeks! A little sad to be all done now.

Meg, I think the first night in the hospital truly freaked out my dh and I. It was AWFUL! A baby woke like every 20-30minutes. We were dying. The next night I sent dh home to get some good sleep (one of us needed to) and my sister stayed with me. After about an hour of someone waking every 20min, we sent them to the nursery. It was so worth it. lol. But they get better, just takes time.

My girls did this at 2 months after the Rotavirus vaccine. I have a friend whose son also did the same thing. It could be the vaccines. I remember those days and never ever want to go back. It does get better, I promise. Now, we are only up at night if one of the kids happens to get sick.

Maybe this is the problem because they both got the rotavirus vaccine. Last night wasn't much better. And then we woke up to an ice storm and no power. I'm exhausted!

A friend warned me it can be bad when they get the big pile of vaccines. I'm all for vaccination but it's a big upset to their baby immune systems, it hurts, and they can get a fever so it's no wonder they were crazy fussy. I'm sorry it was so tough on you! I'm expecting a rough day or two when we go in for their first big round of vaccines in a couple of weeks.

It's gotta be the vaccinations but the weird thing is that when they got their first rounds all they did was sleep. We'll see how much better tonight is.

They are a little more aware now at 4 months than they were at 2 months. It could be they slept to deal with the pain at 2 months, but are fussing to tell it hurts now. Who knows, but I hope it got better over the weekend.
