I am Stacy (29 -- well in another week) and have been married to my best friend from college, Doug (29) for 5 years.
Doug and I tried to get pregnant for 4 years and suffered miscarriages before finally getting pregnant with our faternal twin girls, Sydney and Megan. We are still adjusting to being new parents and loving every minute of it!
I'm finally adding myself!
I'm Julie, 37, married 16 years this December to the love of my life, Jim (together for 21.5 years...more than half my life!). We live in Alaska with our five kidlets (see my siggy for ages): Samuel, Moriah, Susannah, Abigail and Bethany. In our family, boys come one at a time and girls come two at a time. We also have a new puppy named Hurley (after Bobby Hurley, Duke player in the 90's).
We found out about our first twins at 17 weeks and our second twins at 8 weeks. Both are fraternal, although our older girls look alot alike. The two sets of girls/experiences couldn't be more different!
I realized I have never add myself. Here goes:
My name is Erika (31) married to DH: Kyle (29). We were high school sweethearts and have been together for 15 years this October. (married for 7) We have a DD: Olivia Anne who is 27 months and the twins: Miriam Elizabeth and Chloe Lyla are 8 months. The twins were born 1-8-07 at 39 weeks, at home. They were also a waterbirth.
We found out about the twins at 20 weeks. We had no suspicion at all. I had promised DH we could find out the sex of the baby with our second pregnancy. I actually tried to back out of the ultrasound saying it was "bad Karma" and "besides our MW doesn't do twins" When we heard the question; "Do you know what that is?.......two heads" My first reaction was "NOOOOOO" and I bawled through the rest.
Homebirthing, breastfeeding, sling wearing, cloth diapering momma to 3 girls ages 7 and 6 year old twins and peanut #4 due sometime in late September
I guess I never posted my intro on this thread - oops! I'm Jen (30) and DH is Terence (34) and we are proud parents to Sean and Emma! We have known each other for 16 years, have been "together" for 10 years, and married for 3.5 years. We tried to get pregnant for two years and finally conceived twins through IVF. Here is a "pre-babies" pic of us - I wish I still looked this thin

Born @ 34w 2d... NO NICU!!!!
It's about time I officially introduced myself and my boys! My name is Kate, I'm 24 (got a birthday coming up at the end of April) and the first time mother of Riley and Kaden, identical twin boys. My husband, Donny, and I were only engaged for a few months when we found out I was pregnant. Needless to say, it was a bit of a shock! We were just getting comfortable with the idea of a baby when I had an US done at 6 weeks. It went something like this....
(US tech points to a really small circle with a flutter)"There's your baby!"
(DH studies the screen for a few moments and points to the same flutter)"If that's the baby, then what's THAT??" (points to second small round flutter)
(US tech has big smile on her face)"You're too smart for your own good."
(Self and DH)"There's TWO!?!?!?"
Followed by any possible variations of the following you can think of: "OMG, holy sh*t, you've got to be kidding me!" Etc, etc, etc.
DH attempted to jump out the window....
Kidding, but he thought about it! So did I, in fact. 8 months later, Riley Christopher and Kaden Nicholas made their squalling debuts on a lovely Sunday afternoon in January. A few days after the birth, DH's father sent out an e-mail to friends announcing the birth of the boys with the finishing line of, "Donny hasn't come down from Cloud Nine yet, but we're optimistic he'll return to Earth soon." Three weeks later, the colic started. DH's feet are now firmly cemented to the ground. I'm told it ends. Dear lord, I hope so!!
I've gotta figure out how to get pics on here. Promise, I'll post some soon!
I'm new to the board- my fraternal twin girls are now four weeks old. Hubby and I tried for several years before turning to IVF. Our first baby didn't make it because of a lethal anomaly, but our third IVF cycle was twins and we're very happy to finally have them here after a tough pregnancy- full of threatened pre-term labour and lots of bed rest.
One day I might do it all again.......
After infertility and loss, IVF Mama to two ICSI Pixies since 2008.

First of all, let me say I am still trying to get the hang of photobucket, so these pics might be a little large!
My name is Shana ( 28 ) and I have known my DH Jeremy ( 31 ) for years! We have been married 4 years and we found out we were expecting twins in Febraury 2008. Donnie and David are monozygotic and were born healthy at 34 weeks and one day. David experienced some difficulties in the NICU and he continues to improve.
33 weeks pregnant / 3 weeks post-partum
Hello! I'm Stacy and my DH is Jason. We got hitched in April of 2007 and tried to get pregnant pretty soon after. Our wonderful RE+Clomid+Follistim on the first try brought us our twin boys! Life has never been crazier...or better. William & Evan were born November 28, 2008 - (one day after my 31st birthday ) c-section at 36 weeks 3 days. They were perfectly healthy - we are so blessed!
